Thanks girlzmum, obviously I hope I don't have diabetes but if it means they'll address the fact I'm worried that the baby is measuring big then I suppose that's something! I know I'm probably panicing over nothing 'cause it's all guesswork but beign my first I suppose it's normal to be concerned!
My wonderful agency managed to not pay me my holiday pay again today - for about the 5th time! You'd think they weren't used to processing salaries or something! They've also finally replied to my letter about maternity leave (that I sent in APRIL!) - way to stick to he 30 day reply timescale guys. Hopefully won't have much more dealing with them from here on in.
Felt a bit rubbish yesterday, went for a lie down when I came home from work - seriously struggled to get back up again :rotfl:My Debt Free Diary

Hi all,
I didnt want to start a new thread, but i found out this morning i am pregnant. Im all over the place, i phoned the doctors this morning and am lucky that there was a cancelation and have an appointment at 10.45 today.
I am just so scared, BF knows that it is possible as even he noticed my period was late. Im 28, and i was ment to be attending courses, etc until January and due to the type of course im scared i will be letting people down, even though I know i want this baby.
Sorry this i all over the place, i am just so shocked and dont really have anyone else to talk to right now as BF is at work.
I already have one DS (11) i was only 16 when i had him and thought that if i ever had a baby again i would be living with my partner and be stable. My BF is the best relationship i have ever had, we waited the six months before introducing the kids, but we are still so new into this, its only been 9 months.
Im sorry if this is in the wrong place. Thank you.0 -
Hey hey angie - calm down love
As my wee granny used to say, there are a million things in the world worse than a baby and not one thing better.
So you're pregnant - it's not the end of the world. You know you're a good mum already. You're in a relationship with a man that you really care about and you want this baby. That's the important part.
This is June, you won't be due 'till about March - there's no reason that you can't do the majority if not all of the course that you're planning to do and if you can't - you can do it later. The world doesn't stop 'cause you have a baby.
Take a deep breath, have a cup of tea and think of how wonderful it'll beMy Debt Free Diary

I just have all these feelings coming back, i was 16 when i had DS and i just want people to be happy rather than the look of disapointment.
Its just a shock. Best get ready to go to the doctors. Thank you again i really need to calm down a bit!0 -
Morning all,
Hope those overdue have their babies soon! I feel very "normal" today which is very odd as I don't think I've had a normal day since finding out I was pregnant! Going to try and walk the baby out again today - did about a mile yesterday with OH. Then going to make enough dinner to freeze half to add to our little freezer collection - haven't done half as much as I'd planned as I've been ill but probably have at least another week to cook!0 -
Has anyone experienced morning sickness starting at 24 weeks + ?
I didn't suffer with morning sickness at the start of this pregnancy - just a bit of nausea but not actually being sick
Last tuesday i went out for a meal & vomitted not long after
Yesterday i felt nauseous all day, feeling like i had eaten a massive meal - stuffed even though i hadn't eaten anything. I left work early & slept for 3 hours when i got home, once i woke up i thought i better eat something - i thought wrong - vomitted again
Woken up nauseous again - managed to eat a cereal bar but it has made me feel worse :-(
Not a great way to start my birthday :-(0 -

Stuff what everyone else thinks! I'm 23 and get awful looks when I'm out and about - the fact my wedding rings don't fit anymore doesn't help! - but who cares? I'm having a baby!My Debt Free Diary

Oh my. Easier said than done but please please try and stay calm. I know when I found out I was pregnant my world ended. I felt sick with worry for days and days. I didn't want a baby, I'm 29, been with my partner 12 years and felt like the stupidist idiot ever for having an accidental pregnancy. But, here I am 25 weeks + and delighted/excited about the birth of my little boy. In fact it's an absolute blessing!!!
The point is it's never ideal, things happen and never at the right time! It's not the end of the world though and you know you want this baby which is a start. Surely you can still continue with your courses since baby won't be due until after January? Deep breaths..I bet in a few weeks your delighted.
Oh and just seen your other post and wanted to say - your not 16 and it doesn't matter what anyone thinks even if you were! It's your life, your choice. If anyone is disappointed they will sure as hell get over it!0
