Snoz, glad you and Toby are home and feeling a little better!

Dida and Mrsj hope your both feeling ok and either have some news for us or are on your way too! I was induced with ds I didn't find it that bad at all the only thing I didn't like was the sort of swollen feeling I got from the gel but that is such a minor thing! Other than that a nice active quick birth!

Just realized I will be in single figures when you boldies have your babies! Scary stuff! Have to start getting things together I suppose! Have been put on iron tablets unfortunately, argh don't like them!

Anyone got anything good planned for today?

Also lovecake hasn't been on for a while or have I missed her ba?

Hmmm....I haven't seen her for a while either - maybe she has booked another lovely holiday to make us all jealous??!! Hope she's ok.

No news from me - but I have a dilemma....I have just had a bath....in case mw comes round for my sweep but what if she comes round about 12/1pm without telephoning???!!! Do I bath/shower every hour???!!! I am very "gunky" at the moment (TMI - sorry!) - I know they have seen the lot....BUT that still doesn't help us ladies who like to err....spruce a bit "down there" first!!!!:D (I am one of those that are paranoid - silly I know....but....!). I hope she phones first and gives me 20 mins warning if she is coming!!!!

Rubbish weather here - raining and dull - hope some of you have some sunshine!

Could you just pop to the bathroom quickly if she turns up? I know what you mean thou, I like to make sure everything i, umm, fresh and tidy?!

Hope she is ok, I did wonder if she had another holiday but can't remember, good old pregnancy brain!

Weather here is sunny/cloudy but very muggy, we had rain and high winds last night.

I hope you do manage to get another sweep today Dida, your last one seemed so positive with everything that was happening, fingers crossed for you!!

Dida - really hoping you get the sweep today and it all works out for you, maybe if she does turn up unannounced you could just pop to the loo before she does it?

She's coming! Yehay!!! :j:j:j (I feel like crying....!:D) - and she sounded absolutely lovely on the phone.

Update: I won't clog up the forum again with more posts - but she has been - absolutely lovely mw - explained everything to me (and how to get what I want from the hospital!) - did a sweep (the never ending gunk is my plug apparently) - baby has changed position a bit trying to get down into my pelvis (explains the backache this morning - so am now sitting on ball!) - cervix is soft and shortened to 1cm - but just gotta get baby in right position now and get cervix dilated a bit more. Probably have to go in on Monday (but I am going to do my damned hardest beforehand!) but they might be able to go straight to breaking my waters.

Thanks for everyones support - and yes BB - I bought more ingredients for another raspberry and lemon cake too - they are sooooo nice - maybe that's why baby hasn't come out!

Benicetomyself - you can eat scampi - cooked prawns are fine - so enjoy! (I have been eating prawns and crab throughout my pregnancy!)

We're on holiday for a week in Whitby. no shellfish for me tho! I really fancy some scampi. 25+1

BigBird, if you are still lurking - I just made the THIRD raspberry and lemon curd cake since you posted that recipe!!! It's already a firm favourite, and am taking it round to a friend's house as we are going for a BBQ at lunchtime today!

Off work sick today my back and pelvis are hurting and with my job being manual I just wouldn't have coped, it's been a busy week gonna just try to take it easy for a few days, easier said than done with a 20 month old running round
