Morning ladies!
Dida, hope your not around today as something has happened after your sweep! Every one I've had has never hurt or worked so hopefully that was a good sign! Love your nursery, its gorgeous!

Haha! Morning Sam and Claree! Still here - been awake since 4.30am!Enjoy your mw appointment Sam! Oh dear Claree....but I would have gone in too I think - you can never be too sure! At least you can be tired and grumpy today with a reason!!!! Whooping cough jab doesn't hurt at all - at the time - then it makes your arm a bit sore for about a week! (sorry:o!!!)
Hope mrsj28 had more excitement happen than I did last night...??!!
I am going to bake the cheese scones and cake that I didn't yesterday (tummy too sore to want to!).

Oh Claree at least you know its nothing! Hope you had a good holiday? A word of advice get your injection on the side you don't sleep on, I had mine on the left then couldnt get comfortable because it really hurt!0

Holiday was lovely, just trying to get back into the practical swing of things now.
No idea what arm to get this on cause I have to drive to work (left hand for manual car) but then spend a lot of the day writing (right handed) so I'm dammed either way! Realised yesterday that I finish work in 4 weeks and now have 7 appointments during working hours - oops!!My Debt Free Diary

Mine didn't hurt when I drove. Its the top part of your arm that aches - so I would say avoid your right arm that is used for writing as that will probably ache more! (and like Sam said - especially the arm you sleep on - as its the pressure that does it!)0 -
Dida - why are you still here!?!? Was hoping not to hear from you today (I mean that in the nicest possible way!)
Walking round the village yesterday and saw one of the couples from my antenatal class with their baby in a pushchair - I was so jealous and wanted it to be me with the baby in the pushchair!!
MW apt today but my MW is on holiday so seeing someone else - hope she is just as nice!New first time mummy to a gorgeous little boy!

Yesterday I heard my mw who saw me up until when I was 37 weeks, had her baby a few weeks ago:eek:! She was a week behind me too!!!!
It will be our turn soon Nikkiann - but you had better not queue job......!!!!:rotfl:
I will try and be a bit quieter today - I feel like I have been "hogging" the forum a bit! Sorry guys - you are helping me pass the time x0 -
Don't feel that at all Dida - this thread is keeping me sane so it's nice to have it so busy
I am trying to avoid all baby thoughts and activities today after yet another trip to the out of hours Dr last night for sickness injection. So seeing a friend then I think I'll drag OH out of the house as he's been really sleepy lately - I think me being ill has really stressed him out0 -
Dida - your posts keep me entertained so carry on,
I'm planning on spending a relaxing day in, doing washing and ironingso far haven't even managed to get dressed....oops being lazy!

Thanks both! I will take it to be a good thing that I am entertaining people!!!:D
I had a start like yours Nikki but.....have just made 18 cheese scones with grated cheese on top - easy recipe http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/cheesescones_1287 for anyone who is inspired (add loads more grated cheese though!) but you will need to double up the ingredients otherwise you end up eating the few you make yourself!!! One of my faves just straight out of the oven!!:) (5 mins to go!!!!). Some can go in the freezer before the OH comes home and eats them all!
Anyone got any other good (easy-ish) recipes to share? Its gonna be a long day!:o0 -
