Back from sweep - OMG - how painful - got bad period type pains now and bleeding a bit
Think it was more painful as she "swept" several times quite deep - ouch! But apparently this is the only sweep they do - they won't do another despite what I was told last week. Been told that it something is going to happen due to sweep, it will happen within 48 hours. Fingers crossed!
They have booked me in for induction next Monday - although I have been told to take my suitcase to hospital - I have also been told that I can have a discussion on the day about what I want - C-section/induction etc... so I'm not committed as yet. Hoping baby makes an appearance before all that....am 1.5cm dilated and cervix is open apparently.....so gonna keep bouncing!
Nikkiann - I have a couple of blue blanketsOnly because in true MSE fashion, it was mega cheap from Asda's baby event!!! Most other things are pink! Glad to hear everything is hunky dorey with the babe!:T
Please help me fill my time - anyone fancy a "show me your nursery" piccie show??!!! I will take a pic and upload - warning its uber pink!!!! (please please let it be a girl or I'm stuffed!!!).
Labour vibes to mrsj28 and the other 2 who have been a little quiet at position 3 and 4 (who may have had their babies by now???)0 -
My nursery (a little cluttered - please excuse!) - my 2 absolute bargains - cot £21 and Cosatto changing thingy £28 (everything else was cheap too in MSE style apart from the damn car seat and isofix thingy!!!)0

I love your changing table/unit - haven't seen one like that but it looks so practical
My friend was told all through her pregnancy that she was having a boy only to find when "he" was born, "he" was a girl! Her OH went home from the hospital and stayed up all night painting the nursery from blue to pink!
I will upload pics of my nursery but have no idea how to upload pics on here - anyone have an idiots guide for me?New first time mummy to a gorgeous little boy!

Nessie. That blanket is going to be gorgeous. I love knitting and have recently taught myself how to crochet. So a blanket like that will definatly be on my to-do list.
We will be finding out what were having but if anyone buys me anythig in the expected colour I'm sure I will be going a little crazy at them too. Especially if its a girl as I hate baby pink.

I love your curtains!! The window in our nursary is quite tall though so it's a nightmare finding baby style curtains to fit.
Congrats on tiny Toby, snoz - hope you're both home and safe soon.
Back from our lovely weekend in Italy. It was very warm but otherwise great. Feet didn't take too well to it and grew to the size of small melons but they seem to be back to normal now. The other thing I've had is a really horrible rash on my hands/wrists and feet - I think it's to do with the swelling so it's nothing to worry about?

Oh no!!!Hopefully 3 sonographers have been correct....but you never know do you!
The changing table is great - saw it on Amazon and the reviews were fab so I looked for one on Ebay - this is in absolutely pristine condition and even has a bath underneath the changing table!
You can upload piccies by uploading them first to somewhere like photobucket - you will need to sign up for a free account though. Then once any piccies are on photobucket you can just click on the little image symbol when typing a message and it should ask you for a URL - which you can get off photobucket (its the direct link bit!). Quite easy once you upload to photobucket.0 -

Pleased to hear holiday was lovely - goodness....I am so jealous! I would speak to your mw about the rash just to reassure yourself.
Have a look at Next curtains - mine were quite reasonable (they had different lengths - think mine were the shortest) and have a blackout lining too which I didn't expect.0 -

I'm planning to get an ikea blackout blind but if the next curtains are blackout I'll have a wee look at them!I'm in for my whooping cough vac tomorrow so I'll ask the nurse what she thinks but I'm pretty sure it's nothing - it's died down a hell of a lot already so I presume the heat played a part!
Going to a wedding in 2 weeks time. I kinda want to wear wedges so that I'm not mega short but I know sandles seem like a better idea =/My Debt Free Diary

Nessie that blanket looks fab! I wish I could knit or crochet but according to my mum it's impossible to teach me because I'm left handed!!!
We didn't find out when we had our girls, with eldest I insisted to DH that we had planty of stuff in white/yellow and it didn't matter what sex baby was they would be wearing those colours. Eldest arrived at 01.21 and hubby rang me before coming back up to hospital to visit me to ask if I needed anything, I sent him to Mothercare to get pink!!!! I'm completely blaming hormones! Should point out that neither of our girls are girly at all, youngest is happiest up a tree, hates dresses and her only concession to being a girl is her waist length hair! I did suggest to girls that I have lots of pink stuff and when Wriggler arrives I could dress him in pink and was told off!
I thought we were going to have to make a wee trip to maternity last night, I was in absolute agony, it was a very specific area - the lower right hand side of my tummy and it kept coming and going in spasms. It was so severe I actually felt sick. I took some pain relief, took it very easy last night (skipped my yoga class) and had an early night. I woke up in the middle of the night absolutely drenched in sweat but I wasn't hot at all, rolled over to try to get out of bed and that triggered another spasm, I could have cried. I managed to get to the loo and back to bed, dropped off right away and when I woke this morning it has eased so much. There is a niggly pain that comes and goes but its nothing compared to last night.Norn Iron Club member 273:beer:0
