Oh wonderful news snoz! Kept checking yesterday incase you updated. Glad you are getting looked after, hopefully it won't be long and you and Toby can go home to your oh and start settling as a family!

Oh Dida your top of the list, that has come quickly really, hope your feeling ok today and not to uncomfortable.

Kayalana, I think its just those horrible hormones, I know I am so much more short tempered than normal with my two, and feel so guilty about it, like you I hold it in but just feel cross iyswim, if your worried try chatting with your midwife or GP.

I should probably get my bum in gear and move onto this thread. I'm 26+5 and EDD is 17th September (tbh this can't come quick enough, between the constant sickness and pain I'm ready to give up )

Advice needed ladies...

I haven't felt little lump move since early this morning. I have been out shopping most the day and have just got home.

Only mentioned this to OH just now and so he is panicking. It is unusual for me to not feel anything as he has in the past 2 weeks been super active.

Should I be concerned yet? should I go to hospital? how long should I wait?

I'm 37 + 5

Congratulations snozberry!

I'm pretty decided on how I would like my birth to go, but at the end of the day I will always listen to my consultant, she's the one with the medical knowledge after all.

I personally wouldn't be concerned cause you've been on the move all day... I always find mine have been most active at night or when I'm sitting around not doing anything.

But only you know your baby/body so I think you should do what feels best for you. X

They can sleep for many hours in the latter stages and then will surprise you with "uber-movements". I don't feel mine much in the mornings at all (sometimes not at all unless I am driving over a bumpy road!) but in the evenings it nearly bursts through my tummy with activity!

Try having an icecold glass (with ice added!) of orange juice and a banana/Mars Bar/something "uber sweet" - and give it an hour and see if you feel anything then. Mine tends to wake up with fizzy drinks - so you could try a cold fizzy sugary drink also? And a drive along a bumpy road (mine is sure to wake up during that!).

I would say if you haven't felt anything a couple of hours after the sweet treatment then give the hospital a call - its better to be reassured (you can bet your bottom dollar as soon as you arrive at the hospital - baby will act like its in a disco!!!!). Let us know how you get on.
