Congrats Mogwai! Your labour sounds a lot like my DS's birth. I'm hoping for the same again this time.

Yes, EPO is evening primrose oil. I've been taking it for the last few weeks but nothing happening here yet. Although I had a little bit of fresh blood when I wiped this morning, am feeling especially achy today and keep feeling a bit sick. I'm supposed to be visiting a friend later who's about half an hour away. I know if I don't go nothing will happen, so think I might just chuck the bags and baby seat in the car and head on over.

Congrats Mogwai, have you chosen a name yet?

Not long for you now BB. I really can't believe how the time has flown by! Seems like only yesterday we were having our 'false starts' :o

I seem to have the worlds most active baby. She is constantly shifting and kicking me. It's very reassuring but a bit uncomfy at times!

Saw my NCT girls last night, 7 out of 8 of us made it which is virtually unheard off, it was really good to catch up. Anyone here doing NCT I would say it's brilliant for the social side of things.

Apparently I look like I am smuggling a bowling ball up my top! I'm feeling a big huge at the moment.

Labour vibes to snoz and anybody else waiting to drop!

    29 weeks today :)

    Congratulations Mogwai!

Hope things start moving for those that are patiently waiting!

I have a growth scan today to check everything is ok and then seeing my consultant for finalising my birthing plan so I'm hoping that all goes well and it's all good news - looking forward to seeing little man again tho

Hope your scan goes well Nicki! It's nice to get an extra sneaky peek! Don't think I will this time as my midwife isn't bothered I'm measuring small as I have the last two pregnancies and ended up with very good sized babies, I obviously just hide them well, although a lady did stop me to ask if I was expecting twins!

Your bump was lovely and neat on your last piccy MV!

Going through birth plan with midwife next time, not got anything to put on it though! Except what the consultants have said. Just see how it goes on the day!

Fingers crossed this is the start of things BB!

Massive congratulations mogwai! Gulp! You were due 1 day AFTER me! That's scary as I think I am still in denial that I have anything in there!!!:D

Sam - MW called about half an hour a go by phone - she asked whether I knew what a health visitor did - cheeky moo - I explained that I was educated enough to know and didn't feel I needed her services stressing me out just before I was due to give birth! She then proceeded to ask me whether I would like to talk about my stress......!!!:rotfl: Needless to say - I am not having her round!

Grr! I'm not sure they'd have liked my answer if they'd asked me what HVs do....;). It's obviously quiet around your way if they're so keen to pop over! Well done at sticking to your guns.

Thanks all, yup EPO is evening primrose oil and BB the first time I took it it made me feel sick too, then I started getting false contractions the next time and went into labour the next day..prob all a coincidence or maybe my body reacts to EPO that way?

I have chosen a name it's Dayaan which means mighty ruler, though he's only a little simba at the moment, lol..

Sam I'm surprised the HV took 10 days to come over?? Mine came the day after we got home (yesterday) and I called the support team for help with breastfeeding and another HV is coming over in a bit to spend more time with me helping him latch

Bit disappointed my milks not come in yet, but I did get my left boob 'working' enough to express a couple of ml yesterday so happy about that..

IHDida - ur time will come soon!! Hope u don't go overdue but unless u have a really really quick labour like my sis (15min established labour lucky sod!) you will have some time when contractions are still mild to get into the right frame of mind and prepare mentally for the fact that little one will be here soon - I felt really nervous when my waters broke, the kind of feeling you get before u get on a rollercoaster - in a good way :))
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Debt at LBM (Sep 07): £13,500. Current debt: [STRIKE]£680[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£480[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£560[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£13[/STRIKE] £0 overdraft :D
Current aims - to start building up savings
    1st £1000 in 100 days - £1178.03 :D 2nd £1053.38/£1000 :D 3rd £863.59/£1000 :o

Dida, your not having a lot of luck are you! That is cheeky of them, my first health visitor was an old dragon, we fell out but the one I got with ds is lovely she wasnt interfering at all! Best to stick to what you feel is right, you know your body and you will know your baby best!

Mogwai, we see midwifes for first 10 days or so then go over to health visitor or atleast thats what I've had last two times! Glad your getting plenty of breast feeding support, I was so lucky with my two, straight on no problems you would have thought they were starved, mind you they are still the same with their food now, doesn't last two seconds and always want more! Just hoping this one is the same but is good to know the support is there!
