Ladies, scales are not your friend during pregnancy ;)

I've not been near mine since my BFP. I can tell by the size of my behind that I've put on approximately half a ton :o I don't need scales to give me an exact figure!

Only 2 more weeks of work to go - woo-hoo! Not that I'm counting down or anything...

I put 4 stone on when i'm pregnant... did with my first, have done with this oen too.

Worry not girls, it is actually quite easy to lose most of the weight afterwards... the last half/1 stone needs a bit more work, but summer time is a good time to force yourself to do a bit of exercise anyway IMO (lots of pounding walks with the buggy... grab a workout DVD to do whilst baby sleeps etc)

As if i'm 4th on the list, eeek. 1 more trip out (Manchester to Wembley) tomorrow, then Operation EVICTION commences, can't cope with feeling this disgusting anymore.

Hope everyone else is good xx

(oh and re: Moses Baskets.... as an alternative idea, how about a travel cot type thing for downstairs in the daytime? then it can be used outside, and at grandparents houses for a year, or for visits to other peoples houses too - i got a pop up cot thing with a complete zip net on it for this purpose too, as a change to the moses basket upstairs for night times... and it was only £40 :) Just an idea like... )

Heading to Mothercare with my friend tomorrow, honestly - it's more friends and family that want to go to these places than me! I don't really want to buy much more stuff at the moment - we have no where to put it and I'm sure people will buy us things nearer the time. I do want to price a new moses basket mattress and a bouncy chair though.

Going out of my mind with this exam next friday (eek, it's closer than I thought!). Working through it last night and the parts I thought I knew, turns out I don't!

I also swear my eyesight is getting worse, sitting with my glasses on today and it's still a bit blurry. I blame tiny human!

My eyesight is not quite right Claree_x, I keep meaning to have my eyes tested. It started when I was pregnant, I did think it would be fine once I had my LO, but now I'm pregnant again I swear its getting worse?

I never quite managed to lose my last half stone either Lola.

I'm determined this time though that I am going to get fit again. I'm 40 as well so I can't see it falling off me as easily as it did last time!

Just been to Primark - they have some great maxi dresses that look good with a bump - I got one for £13. I'm dead chuffed :)

My eyes keep blurring too, they were definitely fine before I was pregnant so I guess it must be that.

I'm so so tired at the moment, I've got an exam on Tuesday so between working full time and studying for that I'm absolutely knackered. I have been using my lunchbreak at work to study and doing 2 hours an evening and I used to cope fine but I guess the pregnancy and broken sleep at night is really taking its toll now.

Anyway only a few more days and it will be over. I keep saying to myself, short term pain for long term gain!

Not starting my next module til after baby's born now!

    Hope everyone's ok xx

Also, I second the primark maxi dresses! Some of them are really stretchy round the middle so I got a size up and they look great but not too maternity-y, so I figure I should be able to wear them after!

OR....you are getting close! At our NCT class we were told that your stomach and bowels empty quite quickly nearer the time of birth..... Keep your legs crossed!!!!:D

On another note.....I have found my first stretch marks - under my bump.....damn mirror - I wouldn't have seen them otherwise as I don't seem to have any more.....yet (I think OH had deliberately not told me!). I have been using Bio-oil religiously as well! Pah! How are everyone elses stretch marks??

lol I read that online as well but chose to ignore it haha Oh gawd, I'm not ready for him to come yet and, in any case, I need to have my 38 week scan so he has to stay put for at least a week and a half first.

I have found some small stretchmarks at the tops of my legs and I felt like crying. I keep trying to train my brain into accepting the fact that we are destined to get them but to no avail.

I only have five more days at work and I am getting quite emotional at the thought of leaving my lovely colleagues and children for the best part of a year. I know that I will soon change my tune and I will keep popping in but, I just don't want to leave them at the mo.

I just bought 2 maxi's off boohoo.com for £16 delivered (used a couple of discount codes if anyone wants me to dig them out), bought a size up which will hopefully be enough to accomodate tiny human & I. Struggling with clothes at the moment. Don't like the idea of wearing maxi's to work but I might have to soon!

I have a a couple of stretchmarks at the top of my legs and the side of my boobs but they're not too bad so I'm generally not caring. I measured my bump last night 'cause I thought my midwife had just made it up but turns out she was right - 25cm :D

Bargainous £16 for 2 dresses!!! Codes would be lovely as Primark is too much of a pain to get to. I'm struggling with clothes and I'm only 12+1! :rotfl:
