Ok TMI alert and personal question time, is anyone else in the late stages or pregnancy seeming to go for a poo all the time? I'm not kidding I must go about 3 times a day and I'm not even eating that much, it's driving me crazy!! As usually I have a toddler staring and me and patting my knee in support each time I need to go?!

I think I read somewhere that your body begins to get ready for impending labour by giving you a good clear out..could be nearly your time, how far along are you?

I was constipated like anything last time I was pregnant. I had to have an enema during labour as I was so clogged up!
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

    Well today has been interesting...

I told the boss what was going on and that it was a high possibility that she would be induced early next week....

Half way through a mid morning meeting I get a message saying she is going to be induced TODAY!

I had set myself up with a mind set of inducing next week but this really threw me. I just excused myself from the meeting and walked out the building... My god I have never been so shaken/out of control.

The reason for them doing it now is that everything is under control so rather than risk things going out of control again they decided to do it now.

Got there and she was a little upset and then started to read up about what we were to expect. Could be up to 24hrs before anything happens. I was there for 7hours before we decided that I was to leave for home as they would have chucked me out at 8 anyway. She did say that she was getting some very mild pain just above her legs, irregular and not very long. I suspect the hormones are working their magic!

So I am sat at home, a good 25mins away from the hospital thinking I should not have left her, and cooking what ever is left in the fridge (Friday is shopping day, however I do not dare go out in case the MW call the house phone and call me back in!)

So, going to be an interesting 24hrs!

I posted yesterday (I think) about having the trots and have been told the same thing. We are actually spending this weekend getting all of our last minute baby jobs done just in case.

38 +1 but I've been like this for the past couple of weeks, but it seems to be getting worse, just really bored of it. Going to have to invest in some super soft toilet tissue before too long!!!!!

Splank, poor you, fingers crossed for you, try not to worry yourself, I know it's pointless me saying that as of course you will. But OH is im sure, being well looked after. Chin up

Hmmm snozberry now you've got me thinking, I can't go into labour yet as OH isn't home for a week. Although I have to say, I'm so big achy and tired going into labour now with or without OH doesn't seem like a bad idea!!!

You know, I'm feeling the same. Tired, swollen, achey ... I've had enough now. If the final trimester was like the second then it would be so much better.

In sure everyone will agree the tiredness is just unreal, it just takes over, one minute I'm fine the next I'm yawning my head off and everything feels like a huge task, like making lunch or hanging out the washing. It's crazy/

    Thanks for sharing Niknok :)

You're the same height as me. I started pregnancy at just under 10st (9st 13 or something) and this morning at 25 weeks I am 10st 13.

As I got on the scales I said out loud to myself 'I reckon itll be 10st 5 or nearabouts'!! :rotfl:

I was about 9st 7 before I got pregnant with my son, and although I did lose most of the weight after he was born, I never got rid of the last half stone..through laziness more than anything!

Oh MV, that's nothing!!! I was 10st 7 when I got pregnant, and now I'm 12st 3lb :o It's similar to last time though. Expecting to have put on just over 3 stone by the end of it. But I'm sure my bum is much bigger this time :( Was nearly in tears this morning because all my work clothes make me look fat and frumpy :( The other girls at work who are pregnant look so much nicer - they have nice flattering clothes. I simply can't spend anymore money on clothes though.

Good evening everyone. Hope all are ok.
Splank, I hope things go ok for you and OH this evening.
Bigbird, no stretchmarks here either. Yay! Think I'm safe now.
Missymoo, sounds like you need to rest up, try not to overdo things and take it easy.
dippydooda, hope you get things resolved with regards to your exam.
Mogwai, it's not much fun living like that. You have my sympathy. Hope you get sorted soon.
Chonorla, how time has flown! Glad Flynn is feeling better now and you are getting more sleep.
Snozberry, Oddly enough I feel better now than I did in the second trimester, still looking forward to it being over though. :-)
Gizmodo, I know how you feel. I'm desperate to get back into 'normal' clothes and I haven't put on too much weight. I just want to have a waistline again.
As for me, just playing a waiting game now. No sign of anything at the moment though. Trying to rest up and save my energy occasionally just in case. XXX
