Morning, Clarets how you feeling? I bet you're sick of texts like that?! I hope something happens for you soon!
Just realised I have a 3000 word essay to write by the 23rd! I knew I had one to write but I didn't realise it was the end of module one, which is really in depth and scary! Have read into it last night, but haven't started it yet, I best get a wriggle on and start it tonight. Would have done more last night but was so cross with OH I really didn't feel like it!
Thank you for the bag tips really like those two bags! Will have to have a think as to which one I'm actually going to get, or more which one I can afford, almost got carried away yesterday and bought a second hand one for £100 but I'm so glad I didn't!
Quite uncomfortable and tired today, my boobs hurt, not sure why and getting the odd bits of pressure, am wondering whether I'll last another week until OH gets home....
Am booked in for a mum to be pamper package on thurs, so I need to wait until then lol
Super tired again today, doesn't help that roo woke up at 5.30 again!0 -
Good morning missymoo! Don't know about you but I'm not sure what I'd do without the internet at the moment. :-)
I'm still feeling fine. Felt out of sorts last night so had some antacid and watched a bit of tv for a while, went to bed at eleven and just woke up at seven. Wasn't expecting to sleep so well but it was lovely.
DD1 did a long sponsored walk yesterday so needed a lot of TLC last night. I will take her up some paracetamol and a brew in a bit - I'm just too kind.
I think I will check the weather and see if I can go for a walk today. I'm torn between doing too much and relaxing. I don't want to wear myself out just in case.
The pamper package sounds great. Have a lovely day. X0 -
Clarets, the Internet is my lifeline at the moment!
Bless you looking after your little one, sponsored walks can be hard work when you're small, I remember doing them, years ago!
I think I'd be inclined to go for a walk and do a little bit of hoovering and floor cleaning to try and get things moving! But don't do too much! As you say you might need your energy! I'm going to have a quick tidy up upstairs and maybe wash the floor... Got a bit of an obsession with washing at the moment. I can't have anything sitting about waiting to be washed, just in case I Have to make a quick exit! Could just have a snooze but roo is full of it! No rest for the wicked! X0 -
Just a quick update... Nothing yet!
Wife has had additional hormones on the cervix to help with "getting her ready", however as of around 6pm yesterday all they had done was just give her contractions, started off with 15mins, then down to 5. I was a bit naughty in wanting to stay over and managed to stay there until half midnight when one of the night shift finally turfed me out. However she was very nice about it and spent some time with us both explaining what was going on.
Wife is due another exam this morning and its going to go 1 of 3 ways... either she has progressed enough to attempt water braking and then natural delivery (with more hormone drips to kick things off), OR we have the option to go down the road of a C-Sec, or repeating the whole inducement again.
I am going to go back down there to be with her during the check, but I think we have already decided in our heads, despite the possible complications of going for the C-Sec rather than repeating the inducement because of the stress and energy its zapping from the wife, it can't be good for either of them. Its Sunday now, she is 35 + 5 so the slow progress has given us a couple of extra days for him so....
Baby monitoring on the other hand shows that he is still as happy despite him having is "room" squeezed tight around him every 5 minutes!
stressed...... yep!0 -
Missymoo, the 'little one' is 16 1/2!!!0

SplanK, hope all goes well for you today. It must be exhausting for you. Fingers crossed you get some news soon. As long as baby is happy try not to worry. X0

Lol not quite so little then! Bless you though.
Splank hope all goes well today for you0 -
I have had a mummy to be package and it was fab. Something that I recommend for all of us (including the daddies to be as well).
SPlank - I hope that everything goes ok. It's a shame that you couldn't stop over.
I can't believe that, as from the stroke of midnight, that I will be full term. Where has the time gone?!! It's also my last week at work. I'm dreading Friday as I am going to miss everyone at work a lot. There will be lots of hormonal tears!0 -

Hi there - sounds exhausting, I had a similar experience a few years ago, went in on Friday, induction started, hung around until Sunday afternoon when they took me down to delivery for the waters breaking, hormone drip etc. Monday morning they decided he was stuck, so ended up with a c-section. FWIW next time I'm having an elective.
Hopefully whatever route you choose, he'll be out safely very soon.
Good luck!0
