Thanks - I'm going to try and rearrange everything to see if we can squeeze a chair into the room! For some reason I thought that one was bigger than the one I just posted... but actually it's a bit narrower so might be a better option. I'd really like to be able to feed the baby at night upstairs but not always in bed, if that makes sense!0 -

We bought one of these at the weekend with the matching footstool as well. I'm in the middle of crocheting a throw for it to make it even cosier0 -
I have never had a 'breastfeeding' chair.. I feed mine in my chair, on the beach, in the car, walking round Tesco etc... They are in my room until they sleep through and come in bed with me to feed.
A separate chair is just clutter I don't have room for. I desperately need a footstool though.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

We only bought one for the night feeds plus his bedroom is big enough for one. Baby will be sleeping in our room in the first instance but I don't want him in the bed with us. For a cuddle yes but I don't want him to realise that mummy and daddies bed is the best place to be.0 -
Thanks everyone for putting my mind at ease
Certainly ready for baby to make an appearance. Just 5 weeks to go.DFW - Feb 2016 £19k

We all say that... I ended up co-sleeping for 4 years with DD3 lol
Some won't settle in with parents anyway but if it is the only way to get some sleep you do it.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Just been to have another blood test to check my antigen levels and sat in the waiting room opposite another pregnant lady with the most gorgeous dress on! (I realise this makes me sound like I'm a crazy person who starts at people!)
I wish I had asked her where she got it from as it would have been perfect for an upcoming wedding I'm going too!
Random, but just wanted to share!
I've got anther consultant appointment this week and another growth scan next week all because of these antigens increasing - anyone else had fyA antigen causing these problems? The consultant said last week that worst case would be induced at 36 weeks and the baby needing a blood transfusion - so scared!New first time mummy to a gorgeous little boy!

You should have asked NikkiAnn - partly 'cause I have a wedding in a few months that I'm struggling to find an outfit for
ETA: OH is getting a bit frustrated at not being able to feel tiny human kick. She tends to stop when he puts his hand on my tummy (stubborn little madam!). I'm not sure if he'll be able to feel anything tbh but sometimes I feel quite a strong kick and think he should. My Debt Free Diary

Hey all hope everyone's well. Lovely and sunny here today it's a shame to be stuck at work.
I'd love to have one of those chairs they look so comfy but we definitely don't have room for one.
I went into h&m on Saturday and bought one of their nursing bras because I have grown out of all the maternity ones I bought at 12 weeks, and I spent ages queuing up to buy it and got to the front and the cashier said to me that I didn't have to queue because I am pregnant and next time I should just go straight to the front! Has anyone else heard of this? She said it applies to all shops but I have never heard it before :-/ I would feel so rude just walking to the front lol.
Oh also, we got our cot delivered yesterday! So exciting, I can't wait to build it and dress it now! We got the one from the baby event at asda, got a white cot, mattress, 3 piece bedding set Winnie the Pooh and a pack of 2 sheets for £120! I thought that was a bargain, especially as I have seen a very similar cot in mothercare for £100 on its own
Congrats to all the new mums

Claree, that was exactly the same as me for weeks! Husband was getting rather upset and though the baby didn't like him! I think it was the weight of his hand on my tummy that stopped her kicking, so try holding his hand on really really lightly and see if that works. If not, wait a few weeks. My little lady beats up husband in bed now x0
