  • I have been living in my yoga pants for the last 3 months, not because I have put on that much weight but because I am too lazy to try and wedge myself into my Mat jeans unless there is a damn good reason.

Third on the list!!!!??!?! 39 weeks today and completely fed up now...havent had a good nights sleep in about 3 weeks.

And if one more person says 'if you think your getting no sleep now just you wait...' I will rip their tongue out!! I am not stupid enough to think that once squirt is here I will get my 8 hours but at least when I can sleep it should be a lot more comfortable.

    Ok rant over...sorry.

Good luck Saffa hope something gets started soon for you

  • OK, we've all had our rants now. Lets count some blessings.
We will soon be meeting our lovely babies.
We will soon be able to sleep on our tummies again and not catch them on doors, gates etc. because we've forgotten how they stick out.
There is a large glass of baileys with my name on it at some point once this baby has arrived.
Lovely underwear can soon be worn once again rather than scaffolding.
We will forget all this when our babies are smiling at us or peacefully sleeping.
And someone please remind me of all this next time I want a moan. Lol.

    Hear, hear!

    Totally agree!

Once bubs is here I shall have the best nights sleep on my belly EVER!

I will appreciate being able to get into and out of bed without moaning.

I will be able to get into my house without having to walk up the stairs to close the front door because bump gets in the way.

I will be sat on my lounger in the garden in the sun with a cold chilled glass of chardonnay with a chilled out sleepy baby next to me (one can hope, right?!?) haha

I will finally (hopefully) lose the craving for chocolate that I have never in my life had before I was preg.

I will lose ALL the baby asap and be able to wear jeans...its been too long!

And best of all i'll have my daughter here making it all worth while.

I love this thread, you ladies are great. I'm wondering how I can make it through another 10 weeks but your positive spin definitely helps.

I'm in pain and haven't a single painkiller left in the house!, I have no clothes to wear, scan tomorrow :( .. I don't want to go, they are going to tell me the baby is a girl and then I have OH tantruming to deal with, Sore throat (think it is my hayfever playing up... nasty trees) I've had 4 hours broken sleep, my house is a skip and I want to hide in a cupboard for the next 4 months.

When the baby arrives it will mean more work, more washing, less sleep.. if it is anything like Dot I may just die of exhaustion.

I am wearing the same underwear I have worn for the last 3 years so I don't see anything changing.

I am feeling anything but positive today.. I feel like a big fat painful whale.. :(

    Looking forward to Friday...

It isn't even decent weather to fling the girls in the garden today :(.. and OH is snoring on the sofa... and my daughter is whining at me.. the oldest 1.

Chin up pigpen - if it helps I'm stuck in the middle of an awkward and highly stressful situation in work! My colleague deals with a customer who I cover when he's off on holiday but now the customer has started calling me instead of him because they don't like eachother and now he thinks I'm trying to steal his customer!

Can you not just transfer the call to the person he doesn't like?

I'd keep taking the number and telling the other person to ring them back lol.. They'd soon get the message surely?

I think my main drama is the scan tomorrow.. I am really tempted to say I don't want to know what we are having.. that would remove the stress of it I think.

I don't wish to rain on your parade, but please remember that when your milk comes in your boobs will most likely be HUGE and tender and tummy sleeping will still not be an option for a little while. I'm normally a tummy sleeper and was sooooo looking forward to DS's birth so I could sleep properly and was just gutted that my boobs then stopped me :( But it doesn't last long before things settle down. I just wanted you to be prepared ;)

Personally I'm looking forward to a nice glass of Pimm's and some brie when this little wriggler makes an appearance. :)

Hugs PP. I hope the scan goes well tomorrow. If it is another girl, remind your OH that it's the man who determines the sex.

Today I really must phone the Dr about painkillers. My wisdom tooth decided to play up yesterday and I was in agony with it all evening, but the dentist doesn't want to take it out until after the baby arrives :( If it keeps on happening, I may have to just demand that it comes out.

I could, but because I deal with the admin side of the account as well it's not worth the hassle and my colleague, lovely guy, but has no people skills whatsoever. He's currently telling me to "watch out" for this customer :rotfl: I've to be wary of him apparently and cover myself. How bizarre!

If you don't want to find out then just don't - the fact your OH is going to have a problem with it is insane to me in any case but if it'll take the stress out of it for you then don't find out!
