Awk we all appreciate a good moan - me more than most
Speaking of which - I have this really horrible condition, hyperhidrosis. Basically, excessive sweating of the palms/feet and to a lesser extent underarms (for me anyway, it can be different for different people). For about 22 years I had no idea it was a real thing. Turns out it is. Went to the doctors and they basically gave me deodorant and told me to put it on overnight.
It worked for a while but I put it on last night which means I have a really crap sleep 'cause I'm concious about touching stuff/rubbing it off - woke up this morning and my hands are stinging (lovely side effect of the stuff) but still really badly sweating. I swear I could cry!
I have a midwife appointment on 9th and I'm going to make a docs appointment the same day 'cause obviously this isn't gonna work long term. I can't put stuff on my hands all night if I have to get up with tiny human and I don't want to have to change her clothes 40 times a day 'cause I've sweated through them from holding her.
Really hope she doesn't have this too!My Debt Free Diary

Hi Claree,
My OH also has this. The stuff the doctor gave him made him really sore as it irritated him so much. For about the last 3 years he has been using Linden Voss' Triple Dry. It has completely changed his life, including being able to get married and be in a suit and waistcoat all day
They also do a stick which dries a lot faster then the roll on. I would recommend you give it a go. You can buy it from Boots (but it's more expensive), Larger Sainsbury's and Tesco's also do it or you can order it online. Hope this helps.0 -
I'll definately check it out - thanks!!

So had to see the MW, OH was with me, she advised it is up to us if we have sex, but best avoided!!! Thats ok for me, but I think the OH was not best pleased!!! Have to go back at 30 weeks to have another scan and possibly see the Consultant again, even though I have an appointment next week with him!!!
The MW said 90% of the time it sorts it self out by 30 weeks, I bloomin hope so as I am supposed to going to Itlay at 32 weeks!!! If it doesnt resolve at 30 weeks, looks like a C-section!!!!
I am not worried too much at this point, the worry will start at the scan!!!
.
We were told that we can't have sex as well but, tbh, it's the last thing on my mind right now and, when my OH found out about my placenta the cotton wool came out. We were also told that I could start to bleed and, touch wood, I haven't.0 -

The Health Visitor team want to visit me on Wednesday and seeing the midwife tomorrow. It's all going really quickly now, so need to get on with finishing uni work so I'm ready!
It took my HR ten weeks to confirm mine. Ten weeks!!!0 -
