Hi ladies, I know that this might sound strange but can someone please explain what braxton hicks feel like. I know that everyone is different but I am wondering what to look out for.

Hey all, cool hearing about everyone's change bag ideas. I really like the river isalnd bag clare and the photo bag sounds wicked. Missy them ones you mentioned are so smart but pricey!! Think I will defo go with a Pink Lining one, they are nice and girlie-even tho i duno what i'm having-but its mine not theirs right?
Omg last week i noticed my engagement ring felt a little tight to get off so i stopped wearing it, then this morning after a night shift sat on my butt my legs felt really achey and heavy, I was telling OH about it at tea time before tonight's shift and looked down only to see two maaaaasssssivvveee CANKLES at the ends of my legs!! My ankles are really swollen!! It doesn't hurt but looks hideous, it's nothing to worry about though right? I am 30 weeks now and have put on 1stone 6lb so guess the extra weight is doing it?or water?

I have had to stop wearing my engagement ring for the same reason and, at the weekend, I had to have the only other ring that I wear cut off as I was unable to remove it.:eek:

OMG!!!!!!!!!! OH made me get on the scales tonight.. I have gained over 2 stone already... I am going to be a big fat hideous whale again *sobs like a loon*

Mine is next Thursday... I am dreading it already!! I just can't get my head round an 8th girl.. it is sort of freaking me a bit.

bizarrely I don't want to because I know that knowing will just upset me.. but I hate surprises. I don't want OH to come with me I think that is half my problem. I want to go on my own, find out and deal with it come home, tell him they couldn't tell or I told them I don't want to know and keep it to myself for 4 months.

He is nothing but a PITA and mean about the baby so I don't see why he should get to be part of the pregnancy.

I can't decide if I am hormonal or just a crazy person or if I am as justified in my feelings as I think I am..

Morning,

I hope everyone slept ok. Although I woke up what seemed a hundred times to turn over, I wasn't awake long. Going to pick OH up today, quite concerned he won't recognise me I'm so huge! The trouble is with my first pregnancy, I was tiny and didn't bother buying any maternity clothes, where as this time I'm huge and am so late on that I don't want to buy any expensive clothes for the last 5 weeks! I have about 3 dresses I can wear now without looking obscene, and I bought one in Primarni yesterday so that I can try and look half decent when we go out to dinner next week.

Grrr I can't find my sample bottle thing for going to the midwife later, I always try not to eat before I use it as had to go through all the palava of a glucose tolerance test last time, as I'd eaten too much fruit before my sample!!!!! I can't last until 10.20 for my appointment without eating, will just have to risk it I guess.

Poor you pigpen, I hope OH comes round to the idea and stops being mean, men can be so horrid sometimes.
