    Hallo ladies,

fingers crossed Mini P gets a wriggle on for you chonorla!

Had an appt with the midwife again this morning and she reports that baby is nicely engaged and in an ideal position... she did have words with baby to "encourage" baby out, but if bubs doesn't arrive by next Monday she will offer a sweep at my appt. I would really, really like bubs to arrive this week as next week is my mom's birthday and one of my brother-in-law's too.

As for a changing bag, my sister bought me a bag just before my first miscarriage that I thought would be perfect for a changing bag. It's a tote bag, with slots for 9 photos on either side. I've never seen one before, or since, and love how I can personalise it by adding my choice of photos.

Hope that we're all well and have enjoyed the sunshine
    Saf xx

Good thinking pigpen, will make up a batch tonight, I think.

Saffa and chronia sending downwards thoughts to you and your babies. The last few weeks are the worst aren't they.

How's everyone coping with their aches and pains and horrid SPD? I really feel for you. I just feel like I've got a bowling ball pushing down on my lady parts! Seeing the midwife tomorrow, but concerned I'm measuring big though....

Just done loads of tiny baby washing, I forgot how long it takes to hang everything up when things are in miniature!

I really hate this time of day, toddler is grumpy as he's tired and bored but won't go to sleep and I'm tired and grumpy and have another 2 hours to waste before I can start dinner and start the bedtime routine. We could go for a walk but the effort of changing little ones clothes and dragging the push chair out of the car and down the gravel drive is just nwyond me at the moment!

Well I'm showered and baby is bathed, I've just read him a story and he's just finishing his milk, now all that's left to do is to clean the whole house oh and the inside of the car!!! Hopefully I'll be so tired tonight I might actually sleep all night rather than keep waking up thinking that someone is trying to break in.

Just remembered I need to get a new mattress for the Moses basket and dig out the steriliser, just to be prepared.

Oh on the reuseable nappy front, I bought a whole kit from birth to potty, but I just couldn't get on with them, little one was just wet all the time and the poos were just a nightmare. I probably should have given them more of a chance, but I just didn't really have the time. Could have saved myself a fortune I'm sure. Have stocked up on pampers size 1 for the new baby as i couldn't get on with Huggies at all. My hospital bag is packed but as always I'm not sure if I've gone overboard, but then I'm worried I've forgotten something, I needed barely a quarter of my bag last time but I was only in hospital for 12 hours start to finish but you never know how long you're going to be in there do you. Have gone through my notes today and found the on call midwife number and the delivery suite number and put them in my phone so I'm not charging about trying to find them when the time comes, and I've made a batch load of 'ready meals' for my toddler for whoever to just stick in the microwave in the first few days after, so at least I know he's sorted. What's everyone else doing in preparation for their bundle of joy?

Looking to buy newborn to potty kits is expensive way out of my price budget probably going to resort to boots terry nappies and plastic pants though the reviews arent the best.
    .

I have bought some from Ebay (and a few other suppliers also - to try) and they look like more expensive ones. I think 8 cost me something like £28 - and I have also bought some microfibre liners to put in them (20 cost me £12.99). Decent reviews - so worth a look if you are on a budget?

I have also bought some mroe expensive Charlie Banana ones so will be interested to see how they compare!

Missymoo - I am also from E.Anglia - whereabouts are you? In prep for the little one - I am staining skirting boards and painting door frames - haha - what fun...not!

33 weeks today! I'm starting to get nervous now about the big day.

So far, our baby preparations have been having the windows replaced and my OH getting ready to trade in his boy racer car for something with a bigger boot and smaller engine size. I think that he is missing the purr already lol

We aren't decorating his bedroom until we know what his personality is like. His room was decorated in a neutral theme a year ago so it doesn't really need doing. Oh, we need to have thicker curtains made as well but that is about it really.

Looks like I am officially another day overdue now - unless baby makes a super fast arrival in the next couple of hours :)

Am getting fed up now - perhaps baby needs a memo to remind him what he is supposed to be doing :rotfl: Why are my babies unable to understand what "due date" means???

Off to have a bath and early night

    Hope everyone is well xxx
