    Hi,
Helen why are you having a 36 wk scan? I am booked for one in May for a slighlty low-lying placenta-are you the same?
Had my midwife app today,it was so nice, I had a student and young qualified MW i haven't seen before and they were really pleasant and keen, just seemed a lot more interested than my usual lady! Measured my tummy and I was on the perfectly normal line :) And got my downs number which was 1/2169 so pretty happy with that. Also booked in for parentcraft classes in April!Fun!!:)
    Hope everyone's ok

Morning all, Sparkles reporting in from the most hideous hospital stay! Due to have a scan today for suspected kidney stones :( In a lot of pain and not being given painkillers regularly as they are so busy and over stretched here.

Also, anyone else getting a lot of nose bleeds? It's not like running blood but clots and my nose feels really blocked

Abis if you're lurking. Thanks for asking after me. As above physically I'm feeling really good and the anxiety about things going wrong has gone too. Weirdly though I still feel quite secretive. I had a real taste of how painful things can be in the time between my last mc and this pregnancy and as illogical as it sounds I feel guilty for being pregnant when I already have 2 kids and there are loads of women on the ttc threads who deserve this so much more than me. I'm also worried that people who have no idea about these things will think that the baby we lost last summer will be forgotten when the truth is we have a little grave in our back garden where we buried our child.

Sending super sticky vibes your way xxx

Mwahahaha (evil laugh) of course I found you - I can find you anywhere :p Glad to hear that everything is progressing well :D Don't ever feel guilty about being pregnant. There isn't a quota that says there are only x amount of pregnant ladies allowed at any one time. You not being pregnant wouldn't make anyone else pregnant :o I know there are lots of deserving ladies out there, but they have their own journey to follow just like you or I do - and its not been an easy journey for either of us so far - so don't ever think that you don't deserve some happiness cos by golly lady you do :D:p:rotfl: And I totally know what you mean about not ever forgetting your angel baby - I won't either. Its been something that has totally changed me and what was 'normal' before is a new kind of 'normal' now. And its not as raw or deep as when it first happened but from time to time the sadness bubbles over about what has happened, and thats ok too. You only feel grief if you have loved, and we loves our angel babies so much, that its natural for the grief to wash over you again - sometimes when you least expect it...

Thanks for the sticky wishes :D Got a 1-2 weeks yesterday on a digi, and a stronger line this morning at last! Am 4+1 today, but miscarried at 4+3 last cycle, so I am a little anxious to make it through the weekend. However, overly optimistic Abi is sneaking her way back through now.... Just hope I aren't in for a big ol fall again :o
Courgette I understand completely the 'guilt' thing. I was on the ttc thread last night chatting with someone, and suddenly felt like a fraud and that I shouldn't be there.

I have to admit I used to find pregnant graduates popping up on the ttc thread intensely irritating, offering their 'words of wisdom', and there was me doing it..what a bozo.

Awww, MV yr never a bozo  I thought you were giving really solid advice, that was helpful so please don't feel like a fraud. I think the PMA suffers sometimes on the TTC board when a long term TTC'er graduates, as altho you are potentially 'happier' for them than a newbie, it also brings about feelings of why not me :o I've had this before and felt awful about it cos on the one hand I was genuinely happy for that person, but it kind of made my own situation suck just that little bit more :o

Yayyyy for feeling movements - thats one of the most amazing feelings ever in the world. I am sooooo looking forward to having my turn with that :D
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

    Hi everybody

Not much new to say here but just wanted to say hello!

Had 25 week midwife appointment last week, heard the heartbeat which was fab :D and everything seems to be 'normal' which is all I could ask for!

Picked up some bargains at a local nearly new sale last weekend, am really pleased - I think I've got the baby's wardrobe sorted for the first month or two for about £10 :rotfl::money:

Can't wait to finish work here, only got seven weeks left woohoo!! I've got some holiday booked before maternity leave starts and can't wait to go away on a little break with DH!

Sparkles - sorry to hear about the suspected kidney stones :( Hope you get some pain relief soon and it's nothing too serious :(

Have a good day ladies! mrsj x

Oh glee... OH is refusing to tell his mother about the baby.. she is drama llama extraordinaire!!!! (a trait his sister shares) I want to punch them both repeatedy in the head, with a brick. We are due to visit next weekend as it is her birthday and the bump cannot be hidden unless I wear my coat all weekend!

She will do the wailing like it is the end of the world and I will be forced to tell her to !!!!!! and she doesn't have to have it, look after it, pay for it, feed or clothe it or anything else... I swear I won't be able to keep my mouth shut.. then I will be the biggest wickedest winnie the witch of the 4 corners of the earth for telling them to get a grip andn button it..

I shall make sure I have train fare home in my bank account and £20 for a taxi to the train station and a taxi number in my phone.. I really wish I could drive.. I could load the girls into the car and drive home and leave OH there to tantrum and drama with them.

I am still considering just putting the scan pic on facebook lol... That'll tell them!

That's mental - why will she react so badly? You're not telling her that SHE'S pregnant! Good luck!!

Tell them if they don't have anything nice to say to keep their mouths shut! You don't need any negativity around the you and the baby so unless they are going to be positive, happy and loving about it then they should zip it! I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut in that situation so just say what you feel in a matter of fact un unconfrontational manner - if they take the hump, that's their problem! :)
