Good luck Missty!
I can't really empathise with the guilt, courgette, but please don't think that you don't deserve this baby. You do
As for scales - I'm not even thinking about it. I'll have baby weight to lose anyway so I might aswell just lose a bit moreI'm determined not to be fat-mum though so I'll go for it hell to leather when baby's here.
Wearing maternity trousers for the first time today - how comfy?!
I am in love with my maternity jeans and trousers! They are so comfy, keep my bump nice and cosy, they expand as I eat so I don't get that uncomfy feeling after a meal and I never have to worry about leaving my zipper undone because they don't have one!I want to wear them even when I'm not preggo! :rotfl:
I have been keeping an eye on my weight (not obsessively though, just once every couple of weeks) - mainly because my sis put on a lot of weight with her wee one (as my mum keeps reminding me!) and it took her years to get round to losing it. I don't want to end up like that. Thankfully I am slap bang in the middle of what I apparently should have put on by this stage. We have a buggy fit class in the park over the road from me so I'm going to get straight into that as soon as I'm fit to exercise!
I think some people think this is an excuse to eat whatever they fancy and don't give a stuff about their weight and others get a bit obsessive about how much they are putting on so I'm just trying to sit somewhere in the middlle - enjoy the odd treat, but not completely ignore the whole weight gain thing!
MV - so nice that you can feel the baby move!I felt flutters from about 16 weeks (I was surprised as I have an anterior placenta) and now at over 23 weeks I get big kicks that give me a fright!
OH has to put up with me jumping about in bed, when we are trying to get to sleep and baby is giving me big kicks! :rotfl:
Missty - good luck! Hope you are feeling ok!0 -

I said that tooMight keep them for fat days :rotfl:

I'm pretty much the same. Not going mental but if I want a treat then I'll have it...twiceNo, seriously, what I eat hasn't really changed a lot.
Sitting in work today and my boss must have smoked about 20 cigarettes this morning and honest to god he smells like cat p!ss. I know that's awful but it's killing me!My Debt Free Diary

I'm only 16 weeks so still get the odd bought of sickness - I've been sitting all morning trying to work out what the smell is until he handed me his phone to take a call and even the handset smells! My Debt Free Diary

Eeeeeeeewwwwwwww! Yuk! That is disgusting! Poor you! I had the opposite problem in my office - people's deodorants/aftershaves/perfumes used to make me feel sick - especially when they would spray them near me before they went to a meeting or something. I had to get my OH to switch deodorants and not wear any aftershave around me. For some reason those kind of smells really triggered the nausea. So glad to be over that stage now!0

Hi everyone - my first post in here - sorry it's not very cheery but I was wondering if anyone else is coping with pregnancy after recurrent miscarriages, or knows of places where I can get some support? I'm 25 weeks now, and long past the point of the latest of any of my miscarriages at 15 weeks, so feel like I should be more relaxed by now, but I'm not, I'm literally sleepless with worry about stillbirth and all the other things that could go wrong. I know I ought to start to look at all the bits and pieces we'll need for the baby, but it's as much as I can do to buy a few bits of maternity clothing, just doing that totally stressed me out0

I'm sorry I can't really help but I didn't want to read and run. Huge hugs to you.
Perhaps a miscarraige support charity would be willing to help? Or even just speaking to your GP/midwife?My Debt Free Diary

Thanks for replying Clare_x
I should say - my midwife's been amazing - I'm at a specialist obs and gynae hospital, and I go to see her every couple of weeks for check ups, we've been really well cared for - I guess I feel like she's busy with the physical stuff so I dont want to bother her with how I'm feeling - and I'd love to hear some happy stories from people who have got through this!0 -
Hello to all the newbies it's nice to have lots of chats on here.
I was woken up last night with period type cramps convinced it must be the night! But it wasn'twoke up this morning in a bad mood and feeling down and a bit off.
Still getting some cramps now but nothing major, booked to have a sweep tomorrow. So hopefully that will set me off. Waiting for a baby is not fun!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0
