I'm doing buggy research this weekend. Any good tips of where to start? I will measure the boot of the car before we head to the shops and I have a few brands in mind after looking on Mumsnet. I think I would prefer a 4 wheeler to a 3 wheeler, but I will keep an open mind. Does anyone have any that they particularly hated? I think my Sis had a Quinny and she really didn't like it. The bar was too high up and it was awkward for her to push and not easy getting in and out of the boot....

Lovecake - best advice I had was push it around the shop, make sure you can put it up and down with one hand. OH kept wanting to help me do it but I'm likely to use the pram/pushchair when I'm on my own so I needed to be able to do it alone. Also, I couldn't stand the fiddly button ones, where it took three go's to get the pram piece to lock in - I just don't have the patience for that - add a baby and tiredness to the mix and it'd be a disaster!

Thanks Sparkles! I'll try that! My fave so far is the iCandy Peach, some of the bugaboos look nice too though. We'll be trying them out in the shop and then looking for a second hand one

I'm currently swaying towards the SilverCross Surf but I also really liked the Mothercare Orb but I'm a bit wary about an own brand.

Because she thinks the whole solar system revolves around her, she is a drama queen and thinks everyone should cow-tow to her.. then she met me!! haha.

Yikes, I'm 29th on the list :eek: How did I get to be in the 20's so quickly?

I'm 27 weeks now and should probably start making some preparations for this baby. Like a hospital bag. Also need to get the spare room decorated so that DS can move in there, but first we'll probably need to hire a skip for all of the junk that's currently living in there.

Off to the dentist shortly as I've been in agony with toothache for the past week. I think it's a wisdom tooth I do hope they aren't going to fob me off because I'm pregnant as I can't put up with this for the next 3 months.

Hope everyone else is well and that the ladies at the top of the list aren't kept waiting too much longer.

Currently on tenderhooks about holidays. I'm a temp so I have to accrue holidays before I take them but the boss doesn't know how many people he wants/needs in over the Easter holidays. If I can't work them, I don't get paid for them and I cannot afford that.

Fingers crossed for me please!

Hello all,

We've bought mothercares own buggy so will let you know how it goes.

Been for a sweep today, I am 1cm, Ive been having cramps all afternoon so fingers crossed I'm going into labour these next couple of days! I'm so excited it hurts!! It's about time!!
