Can I be added to the list please? :) 27th August, no idea what we're having yet.

Was horribly sick this morning for the first time in ages though - not cool with that. Feeling very sorry for myself lol!

We discussed having a night away for our anniversary in July but I've just checked in work and there's no way I'll be able to take the day off and we're going to a wedding that weekend so I guess it'll have to be postponed. I'll be 33 weeks by then though - eek!
  • Blimey, 19th on the board!!!

12 working days left - woohooooooo!
Finally put moses basket up in our bedroom (34 weeks pg today) as want to give it a good airing before little one comes along. Trying to encourage the cats to stay away from it, but will see when I get home from work tonight if there are little hairs on the blankets or not. Don't really want to have to resort to shutting doors all the time.

Off to see the MW this afternoon for routine appt, got a few questions to ask her, if she can be bothered to answer them. She's very annoying and never volunteers any info to me so I will just keep asking her various things.

Congrats to all the new mummies, i'd like to bake mine just another few weeks please!

    Lou x
But I want a golden goose daddy and I want it right NOW!!!!!

Hi everyone, officially on this thread now as 24 weeks, seems like ages to go but I'm sure it'll go quickly!

Has anyone else had stabby pains similar to ovulation pain? I had it last night so bad that it woke me up several times, don't know whether to pop to GP to make sure it's not another UTI or just wait to see midwife in a week.

Maybe just give the midwife/maternity asssessment a call to ease your mind? I've been having all sorts of pains but I'm assured that they're normal!

Has anyone else noticed that their handbag isn't big enough for all the food they want to carry to work? :rotfl:

I have had pains everywhere at some point with all of my pregnancies - I get a really bad stabbing pain in my lower pelvis with this one. Its breathtaking and I can't move sometimes  I have to just stay really still for a couple of minutes until it dies away. It probably is just things stretching and moving as baby shuffles around to make room for themselves :D But give MW/hospital a quick ring if it is worrying you as they are the best ones to put your mind at rest.

I had a night away at 33 weeks with DH - late valentine/early birthday/last bit of peace before baby number 4 arrives kind of thing :D. We had a lovely King size bed and a lovely soft mattress which didn't make my hips sore (like our hard bed does!) and didn't want to come home! I did manage to waddle round Ikea the next day too. I would book it to give you something to look forward to :)

Claree_x, we had a weekend away this past weekend when I was 34 weeks. I just took my notes with and kept them in the car in case of any emergency. It was fabulous for DH and I to have that space to reconnect and spend as us, away from the humdrum of life so to speak.

You could always plan a weekend away but book a last minute deal if you're worried about planning that far ahead x

I'd love to have a wee night away but the problem is we're at a wedding on the Saturday and I can't get the Monday off work :( Will maybe go for the weekend before 'cause I don't want to leave it much later!

Go for it Calree_x! I'm planning a beach holiday at 27/28 weeks. Am I mad?? I think I can handle it. I was fine with a 5 hr train journey last week for a weekend away so a short flight to the canaries in a few weeks should be ok I'm thinking. I will take my notes with me though. I also need to remember to get a letter from the GP for the return flight as I'll be just over the 28week mark...

I just really think I need some sun and relaxation before the chaos! Hehe! :)
