Lovecake - we're off to Spain mid-April and I'll be 28/29 weeks! Just make sure if you'll need the fit note to fly (airlines differ, some are 28, some are 32!) and double check your travel insurance will still cover you for medical (I had to get separate insurance but it was under £20).
I really need it before I try and finish my dissertation mid May, eek!

Loving the food-related posts, I've eaten my lunch today but had to get a sandwich on the way home because I was so hungry again and knew I couldn't wait until tea!

I've been eating loads more since about 15 weeks, but now that my bumps getting bigger I get fuller quicker-think cos i'm so short there's not a lot of space for everythin!ha. But i don't stay full for too long. Also I do 12hour shifts so bring enough food and snacks for a family picnic! :)

Quick check-in and I'll C+P this to both pregnancy and baby threads as I know I've been AWOL from both... went to the hospital to have the pains I was having checked out - no sign of labour there but one of their tests showed a chance of it kicking off over the next few days so was kept in Fri-Mon to get both shots of steroids in and on a drip to stop uterine tightenings (it didn't)... tightnings kept going kind of starting off but then stopping so by last night I was so fed up of getting no answers I got a very reluctant agreement I can go home but to haul backside back to the hospital at the first remotely ominous twinge for fear of delivering a prem baby at the roadside. Since I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow I'm not that scared on that front rather than the other stuff really - especially knowing I'm a steroid shot and a week ahead of last time - just living in flipping limbo with my mother staying so I'm not in the house alone if things DO kick off properly is hard-going.

Hospital however is much much better than the hellhole one I delivered at last time - only met a couple of slightly iffy members of staff and the rest have been fantastic. Food also slightly more edible!

Just kind of wishing things would get going now - have had niggles, tightenings, then pains AND tightenings at up to 3min intervals but nothing's developed from any of it so far.
Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!
  • Seeing as we are all confessing how much we eat, im having 2 breakfasts lol I really can't go more than half an hour without food and constantly snack during work. Have my 25week appt tomorrow. Sparkles I've had loads of strange pains too, really makes me panic but then fades away. Jealous of those going on sun holidays, we might get a break for our wedding anniversary in may, ill be 37weeks but will be somewhere local.

Oh I am always hungry right now and I seem to be eating all of the time. I hate going on the scales. OMG I almost cried when I saw *that* number when I last stood on them. I have never seen *that* number before!!!!

We don't have scales :D Will be interesting to see my weight at my next midwife appointment. I was the heaviest I've ever been before we got pregnant so it's not going to be pretty!

I am eating loads too! Just polished off some smoked almonds and this is after a huge dinner!

Even a huge bowl of porridge doesn't do it for me anymore in the mornings!

I have 2 weddings coming up - including a family one when I will be around 36 weeks - and only 2 members of my family currently know I am pregnant! I like to go for the shock factor!!!:D
