Glad to know it's not just me who finds scans stressful . My 20 week scan last week took aaagggees too as baby was being awkward. All I wanted to hear was "yep, all ok" I'm sure all will be fine for you tomorrow though! Morning is a good time, mine was at 3 so I had all day to get nervous!

Sexymouse I've always found Asda very good for towels.

It's a lovely looking wall mounted Brabantia.
Unfortunately the wall it's mounted on looks absolutely awful (it was whitewashed or something, but not well, and then OH spotted it was flaking off & decided to wash the wall, and it just came off. Mostly. So we now have red brick and white bits mixed up!). I'm thinking of planting something small against it (we've had to dig up a small tree to put the washing line up which did a good job of hiding the mess)

Re ironing clothes. So far I've only washed the few clothes that I packed in my hospital bag this last weekend. I did consider ironing them but then decided against it as they will probably get all creased up in the bag. Also it's not like any of his clothes will be ironed once we are home and busy doing all the other things that come with having a newborn

I've never ironed anything except for school uniforms I only iron those because we live in a village where everyone's children are well turned out and I'd got talked about if there were creases on show.

I already do at least one, often two, loads of washing a day. I will have to invest in a tumble dryer once baby arrives as I don't think my airers will be enough this winter with extra loads to do. At the moment I can't get to the washing line as DH has decided to uproot the kids swing set, slide and the wheelie bins to right outside the back door. It seems to be drying inside in 5 hours though in this heat so I'm still keeping up. I'm leaving washing the baby clothes to nearer the time as I don't have anywhere to put them anyway.

I had no thought of washing new clothes first too. oops. i guess with babies they are more sensitive so makes sense. does everyone wash their new stuff before the babies wear them?

i am going to miss my manager as this is her last week before she heads off for maternity and she has been so understanding about appoinements etc. There is a guy who is taking over from her while she is away and already i can feel the pressure of coming into work during the olympics, so i sent an email saying i wont be coming in as my train journeys arent that pleasant anyway. he kept saying to try and come in on Friday and even though the games start later on, i dont want to be stuck on my way home!! grrr

Scan done and dusted! Everything is normal and they're 90% sure it's a girl. Yay!
