Well been to midwife, BP is 150/102 so off to hospital for me
Had an argument with her as she wanted me to go right then by ambulance but had my 4yr old DD with me so really wasn't convenient! Have dropped her with my mum and heading out now. Hope to be back tonight.....

I'm feeling a bit better after ejecting everything from my system last night. I napped for a couple of hours this morning whilst the kids were on the wii, so have caught up with a bit of sleep. I can't face the heat and sun outside though which feels like such a waste of a sunny day.
Sa ra ra - good luck at the scan.
mlbarrett and BezzyK - congrats on team blue. There are so many of you blues on here that I'm feeling more in the minority every day!
That's a big baby ikkle, congrats to your friend.
Crafts - I used to knit, but I tried again last week and can't remember howso I won't be making as much baby stuff as I hoped. I am about to start on my cross stitch blanket though, and I have sorted through my scrapbooking stuff. I have a lot more scrapbooking bits than I remembered, so I might start on a pregnancy record (who was doing one, I remember some pics of it, but can't remember who it was?). Well anyway, that has inspired me to do my own.

Hello all,
Having a lovely day today. The torch relay passed through my borough this morning & hubby and I got to go and see it. Hubby's boss said he could work from home and watch the torch relay so we did just that! It meant a lovely walk for me and bump and a few pics for facebook.
The weather is lovely here, sun is very hot. Not suffering too bad at the mo from the heat however if labour starts, thats another story! Had lunch in the garden.
Now just chillaxing before watching a dvd.
PS - I'm now hoping bubba comes on friday as that will make him an official olympic baby!!2025 financial goals & challenges!

Have you had problems during this pregnancy with high BP? I'm just asking because I had a consultant's appointment at 15 weeks and had stressed myself out about whether I would be getting a c-section or not this time and my BP was 144/80. At the next appointment they said it was on the low side 100/60. Could it be stress?
My 20 week scan is tomorrow morning. I didn't find out if it was a girl or boy last time (and had a little girl) and we aren't planning on finding out tomorrow. I find the first scan and the 20 week one so stressful. I got a dodgy tummy last time. I just focus on the fact that it is an anomoly scan and don't relax until it it over.0 -
This is a really good page to help people understand their blood pressure readings.
