congrats on your baby girl sa-ra-ra-ra :) now only 20 weeks to go!

i have washed all new and second hand baby stuff, will not iron it though.

i have just ordered my cheeky wipes :D thanks Missmonkeymoo for the code she passed out.

OH should be back in a few mins (works 8- 4), i think he finds it hard going to work with me at home, has never been that way before.

my mum told me earlier on the phone that she must be the first to know about when baby is born and not MIL - already the competition has begun! lol i didnt dare tell her we werent going to tell anyone till the next day after the birth - we want just us 3 to settle in for the first night before hoards of people arrive.

hope everyone is coping well in the heat,

    Laura

    NBirdy hope everything is ok

    Sarara congrats on team pink

I read back about 10 pages and cant remember anything! Feeling very down at the min with this trapped nerve in my back/leg. Im sofa-bound at the minute, tried to sort through a cupboard in the bedroom thats full of junk that OH really 'has' to keep, managed to de-clutter a bit of it though so at least thats a bit more space for baby bits!

My brother bought us a twin buggy yesterday with the 20% off Babies R Us voucher. So chuffed! Cant wait for it to arrive so I can have a play. Just got to shop around for the footmuffs for it now. Babies R Us are wanting £40 each for them so hoping any ones will fit

Anyone who's got the Medela Swing 2nd hand care to share how much they paid? There's one on Gumtree near me at the moment for £85 (claiming still in warranty, but as that's only 6 months by the time I use it it will be outside warranty, even if it's transferrable!) and it seems a bit steep for me (I think it failed to sell on ebay at the same price).

I paid £51 + £5 postage for mine on eBay. Haven't been able to try it out yet of course as still no baby here!

Same old scenario last night; cramps and lots of baby movement but all back to normal today. Looks like I'll be going to my 40+4 midwife appointment tomorrow morning after all. I think she said she would do a sweep – obviously not looking forward to it but I hope it works. Haven't got any more appointments booked in so hopefully something will happen soon ... too hot to be this pregnant any more!

Congrats on team pink Sa ra ra ra :)

Oh, and Emsbet I've looked at the list for the first time in weeks and realised I'm still on the wrong date - should be the 5th not the 6th.

Toni, i was living then with the inlaws and few people turned put, but i just made a point and carried on sleepinh/ feeding baby in my room..... they soon got the message. It was a private and special time for me and DH, i really did not want any visitor and i am almost sure i will do the same this time

I bought my Medela swing for £35 in preloved.com, got a few bits with it too, could not believe it, it is the electric one, definitely a great buy for expressing milk for baby.
