Welcome claretsgirl :) Lovely to have you joining us here.
Sorry to hear that you've been having a rough time. I think I'd also feel angry with OH if he was uncontactable so no, I don't think you're being oversensitive or unreasonable
Hope that you feel better but mostly just take care of yourself

lol iwannabeonthebeach, my DH slept right through me jumping and shouting around the room so think the neighbours were alright last night.

the only thing I have craved is milk, am drinking about 1 and a half litres a day!!! but it didn't help with the heartburn last night.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hey guys. I've been lurking, but not much to say as just feeling a bit achy and sorry for myself.
Morocha, beautiful, thanks for the pics.
Saffagal, I'm impressed that you reference everyone on here in your post, I can't seem to keep up with the comments!
I've puffy ankles and can't seem to force myself to sit down all day in work, and then achy legs in the evening. A bit of heartburn, but not too bad, I find it makes me feel a bit sicky though, rather than too uncomfy.
Trying to complete the nursery, but we're embarking on new carpet in our bedroom too, so we've got to paint that too.
I've a busy week with appointments too. Had GTT on Wednesday, I've not heard yet, but suggested if it was a problem they would contact me quite quickly, so I think that's a good sign.
I've Anti-D on Monday, MW on Wednesday and Growth Scan on Thursday. Will be nice to see it again, but seems alot of faf this week!
Also need to book in Whooping Cough jab.... hmmmm.
    Come on boldies!

Saffagirl the baby bouncer/toddler chair is from amazon and it's called fisher price infant to toddler rocker it's also £25 off just now, can't do a link as in on my phone.

Welcome claretsgirl! OH's can be so selfish and totally understand you being mad. I've got to go in once a week to hospital just now due to gestational diabetes and also very high risk for pre eclampsia as well. From 36 weeks this could increase to every second day. It's frustrating to say the least.

Lazy wife sending you a hug and anyone else that needs one!

    Debt-free and Proud!
Just a quick post to say baby arrived last Sunday (27th) after going into labour 8 hours before I was due to go in for an induction! Baby was far too comfy though and ended up being delivered by an emergency c-section. My prediction was right - a little boy weighing 8lb 1oz. Toby is starting to settle into a bit of a routine and I am feeling a lot better already.

Hope all you ladies are well and I am sending labour vibes to those who are due to meet their bubbas. Xx

    Evening ladies :)

Congratulations on Toby, walby1993 Glad to hear that you're both well and starting to settle into a routine.

missty, thank you for the info on that chair; had a look and found it at Argos at the same price as Amazon... so convinced OH that it would make more sense than just a bouncer as it lasts longer as baby can use it right through toddler years too. He agreed so we picked one up this afternoon - that's everything ticked off my list to be ready for baby! Thank you! That's my control freak side coming out - wanting everything ready and sorted :o

lazywife, I'm sure that I miss someone, but I try not to - takes me ages to write a post! You do have a busy week this week. Hope that all your appts go well. I had the whooping cough jab Thurs and had a slightly achy arm Thursday night and a quite achy arm Fri and Fri night but that was it. Apparently it is also a diptheria and tetanus booster. Actually moving about regularly will help the venous return from your feet and so reduce your swollen ankles. Hope that you're feeling less achy x

Hmmm, I'm trying to upload a pic of the nursery...

    Thank you chonorla :D

The "wall hanging" is actually just a piece of fabric I've pinned (with coloured drawing pins to match the dots and also to hide the drawing pins) over some batting which is hiding a cork message board that was stuck to the wall by the previous owners. But I love it :)

Glad your OH got stuck in with you and the cupboards are gone - a work in progress is better than an unstarted work ;)
