  • Hi Helen,

I have a ds who will be 3 in June. I think it's the logistics of it all that's a bit overwhelming. Plus we have just sold our house and can't find anywhere else!!!!

As yet we dont know the sex...we probably wouldn't have found out if it had been 1 but because we are going to be having scans every month I think we will end up finding out. They are not going be identical as they are from seperate eggs and therefore have seperate sacs

    Xx

Welcome conventgirl, wow twins, do you want adding to the list, if so post your due date and we can pop you on.

Tightenings and BH seem to be intensifying a bit for me and felt an increase in pressure over the past day or so. Went out for a [STRIKE]walk[/STRIKE] waddle this afternoon and it felt like I constantly needed to pee.

Lovely pics mrs_b, thank you for sharing, you look blooming!

Well done for your masters mark Chonorla :T

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend and labour vibes to all the boldies!

wow...so much happening here. :-) welcome to the newbies and labour vibes to the boldies...congratulations to morocha, neph and all new mummies before and just after me...

am really sorry been quite bad in here..whenever I try and read back I end up feeing Andr! or changing him. :-)

so weird reading back on some comments regarding birth plans. I was so prepared with mine but it didn't go as planned. in the end I even chucked the idea of a waterbirth as was in pain and went straight for the epidural..was bliss I tell you especially after being in labour for a day and half.. then they found that Andr! was in a very funny position in me still so at 9cm they took me in for a c-section. He was with us in 15 mins born at 12.17am. :-) stitches are better now but not out and about yet...hes up for a feef now. lol.. wi try being back later xxx good luck xx

thank you so much everyone !!

It was quick and still shocke. She sleeping a bit but she is suffering with wind so moans and cries a bit, yesterday was her first night at home. an only hot up to be fed twice but took long time to settle her cos her tummy kept making noises.
I did not go into labour as planne. MIL took me an said she woul respect any decision. I said i wanted her there but to be alone at the pushing stage. AS i arrived at 1 and Dh was working in that town he popped in, then they both went for coffee, when they came back i had to asked them to go out cos they told : you are 10 cm it is time to push. It was just so fast, can not believe it. My baby pooed inside me too, so it could have ended up badly.

Hope you all have your babies very very soon

Hallo ladies :) We've had sunshine yesterday and today - making me feel so much better; like winter is going to end and the drab, dreary days will too.

Congrats Nephys and morocha on your babies - hope you're both enjoying cuddles. Morocha, hope that Jade gets relief from the wind.
Rups, it's much quieter without you, but glad that both you and Andre are doing well x

Welcome coventgirl and congratulations! A friend of mine had twins a few months ago, also their second and third, their daughter was almost 5 when the twins were born.

chonorla; I quite agree and thats why despite my manager pushing I'm being resistant. Congratulations on your assignment though - that is really quite an achievement! Also hope that things have settled for you again since your GTT.

elisabeth - labour vibes to you!

Mrs_B, your photos are Lovely!!! Such a lovely memory to treasure of this time :)

dizzi, hope that you're hanging in and doing ok at the moment; have been thinking about you. I quite agree with the need to get priorities right - so often we get asked our opinion on things from management; their suggestions are usually that kind of thing (windows/comfy visitor chairs) instead of things that we actually need or would make an improvement to the service.

lazywife, good luck for your GTT this coming week; hope it goes well and you don't get too uncomfy whilst waiting.

As for me, I'm really struggling with hip/groin pain on the days I go into work. In the evenings it is just excruciating so the weekend has been bliss on that front; also makes me think it is being exacerbated by my driving as DH and I went out yesterday but he drove and I was ok. I've also packed the basics of baby's bag and a bag for me - probably quite early I know but I'd rather be prepared than not especially as I can't shake the thought that baby will be early. I've a busy week ahead - mw on Mon, consultant and scan on Wed, antenatal class on Thurs as well as my whooping cough jab. Going to discuss the hip/pain with my mw and see what suggestions she has.

If I've missed anyone one out, I'm sorry - I've read back and tried to remember and comment but my brain has been a little slushy the past few days especially. Even rolled my car into the drainpipe (fortunately this stopped me hitting the wall!!) on Fri evening as I forgot to put the handbrake on as I parked. Eeekk!!! Thankfully not too much damage; just cracked one of the downpipe supports... Could have been SO much worse!

Hope that everyone has had a lovely weekend and wishing all a good week ahead with labour vibes to all the boldies
    Saf xx
  • Saffagal , omg the handbrake on the car !! I know how that feels lol. I did that when I found out I was pregnant, luckly some bloke shouted at me and i jumped back in and pulled handbrake up !! And the next time I went shopping I left my keys in the ignition of the car And went shopping for a hour , oh the joys of being pregnant!! And how funny i keep thinking this baby s going to be early and dnt know why, it's not like my other 2 were!!
Just ame of here to read hospital bag list to make my list as I'm not going to mad with stuff I need to take x

Well any hope of moving to a bigger house with 2 children went out of the window this morning as the high-speed 2 extension is going to be less than half a mile from our house... thank god we didn't buy the other house on the shortlist or we'd be able to watch the commuters pick all their noses.

Evening ladies :) How are we all today?

Hope that your appt went well today missty :)

Yes, helen - I look forward to not being ditzy anymore... in over 10 years driving I've never forgotten the handbrake until now!

Oh dizzi, sorry to hear that you'll be negatively affected by the train line. Especially at this time x I know it won't help much, but sending you a big hug anyway x

AFM, had my midwife appt this morning and she decided not to bleed me as the consultant clinic will be doing so on Wed anyway so I can get them to take a little extra for full blood and antibodies. Baby has moved from breech to transverse, so hopefully just taking a little break on the way to head down. I also spoke to my midwife about the hip pain I've been having and she's recommended an osteopath as in her experience her patients have had better results with him than with physio. Managed to get an appt for this Thurs afternoon so fingers crossed. Worth a try anyway!

I'm loving that the world is green again and the snow is gone! Long may it stay that way :)

    Have a good evening all,
    Saf xx
