Hello ladies - been busy round here hasn't it!

Not been on for a couple of days because I have been pretty sick after my GTT test. It was because it knocked me out of my routine and drinking the lucozade on an empty stomach meant I struggled to eat afterwards. The anti-sickness tablets took a while to stay down afterwards too:). But I seemed slightly better yesterday and developed a raging toothache instead - its one of my wisdom tooth which has caused me so much pain over the last couple of years. So was up all of last night in agony and made an emergency appointment this morning at the dentist. He looked in my mouth and said lets just take it out :eek: So am am now sat here with a numb face, still dribbling and a big gaping hole in my mouth! I have never had anything done to my teeth before except 2 small fillings, so am in a bit of shock :rotfl: Just hope when the anaesthetic has worn off that the pain has gone - told the dentist I would rather give birth again than be in that amount of pain again.

morocha - fingers crossed for you!!!

lazywife - boo to the GTT test for you too. My bum was so sore after sitting on the same chair for 2 hours solid, but I did take some lectures to read to keep my mind off it, as the magazines in the waiting room of our clinic could do with updating to something in the last 3 years!!!

dizziblonde - Stained glass windows and comfy chairs - seriously??? Having had a pretty awful first labor myself due to rubbish staff I can understand how annoyed you are. It took me 10 years to even think about having another baby after my first, due to the way I was treated, and I can fully appreciate that nice windows and chairs would not be in my list of priorities!

babymonster2 - I was induced 2 weeks early with my DS2 due to his size. He was 9lb 8oz so makes my eyes water thinking what he would have been full term :eek: The growth scan had predicted 11-12lb full term. My two babies before that were over 9 and a half pounds each and I am only 5ft 3 inches tall, so I am being monitored again with this one. Due to see the Consultant at 32 weeks and go from there. lazywife - my babies are big but also long (60-62cm each) so I always think that balances things out Mine have all been back to back but I have manged to give birth naturally to all of them, so I think long and skinny is the way to go!!!

On a very excited note - I got 62% on my first Masters assignment, so am more than pleased with that :j Though a little less baby brain would have made things easier

Congrats Neph! I've been wondering when you'd go. A good bit smaller than no. 1!! Sounds like an exciting labour! No waiting around. What did the sac look like?

My beautifyul jade was born today at 3. Got to hospital at 1.im] shocked still. Shes still sleeping. I m in no pain, can walk, move etc. 7LBS 2. 53 CM

Congrats morocha! Seems my baby is too comfy to come out yet... Getting frustrated now. Booked in for a sweep next Thursday-let's hope things get moving before then though!!

Morning all.

Thought I would pop on over here now I'm almost 17weeks. I am expecting twins end of June hopefully.

Was a total shock for us as no twins are on either side. Think we are starting to get our heads around it!!!!

congratulations morocha..

elisabeth854, with my ds2 i went over by 12 days, thought he would never come out and i tried everything possible , i even tried cstor oil and that didnt even work!! i was already dilated 3 to 4 cm at these point aswell, so midwife didnt think i would carry on for another 2 weeks , but i did. lol i had sex in the morning of ds2 being born, i dont know if it helped or not, but may be worth a go!

convent girl, congratulations, do you have any other children?? im sure you will be just fine with 2 as you would be with 1. one of my husband friends has 2 children and has just found out she is pregnant with twins,
do you know the sex and are they in the same sac or different??
