Blimey 37+6 Morocha, how fast has that come round? You are doing well to have still been cleaning your nana's house. My housework chores in pregnancy have been washing/drying clothes and cleaning the bathroom but doing it in stages. I am starting to find bending incredibly difficult as my back is starting to get really sore, even getting myself dressed is becoming a chore.
I've been annoying myself this morning trying to see if we can save money by changing energy suppliers. Uswitch says yes but I am always dubious about whether it's right or not. One energy company would not quote me as they said my usage figures were far too low, well I got these from my current supplier, live in a small house, don't have stuff on when we don't need it, cheeky beggars saying that to me. So I've given up for now. We are getting a new meter next week and I've no idea if they are putting a normal one in or going to put an eco 7 one in. Our current one is eco 7 and it's what came with the house historically. I'm guessing not many people have eco 7 nowadays so wondering if they will just put a normal one in.
Hmmm, off to find food.
They'll probably put another economy 7 one in (don't go rushing to get a smart meter - apparently they're all going to need to be replaced by smart-er meters in a few years as they don't meet the new standards so I'm informed by hubby... but my eyes tend to glaze over when he starts talking too much about work) - they seem to fit like for like. You don't need to be on an E7 tariff though - they can add the two rates together and bill you single-rate if it works out cheaper for you (we do this) - just keep an eye on your bill when they change the meter as they did revert us to a 2 rate tariff initially when they changed ours over. Hubby works for an evil energy supplier (and therefore is personally to blame every time I'm feeling cold), I used to for a couple of months but hated it and quit dead quickly!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
afternoon everyone!
msnigella I go to a chiropractor (well i did before i got pg) and i loved it! He manipulated my spine and stopped pain from existing back conditions. I've only stopped going in pg as my back is much better (weirdly)! I think its great but only if they can "fix" you if you know what i mean. My back took a lot of pushing and shoving and popping to get it sorted
queenb how annoying are energy firms??!! They drive me mental! Hopefully you can get it all sorted
morocha well done on the cleaning, thats no easy task! I tried to clean the whole house last week and about collapsed after an hour or so. Oops
AFM I'm having an ok day today, having one of those 'banging head against brick wall' days. Someone who i give a lift to work to is suffering from a bad cold and doesnt see why I dont want to be cooped up in the commute to work with her when im pregnant! I didnt want to sound horrible to her but i thought it was all sorted yest when she said she arranged a lift from someone else (there are 3 of us who can pick her up) but today she has emailled me again asking for a lift. Normally I wouldnt mind but i think my hormones are getting the better of me and i really want to tell her to push off! *thinks happy thoughts...*

Hi everyone!
Haven't posted recently but have been reading on my phone.
I'm really struggling with back / leg pain at the mo, docs think I have sciatia and tell me it 'should go away once baby's here' - not helpful!
I've booked in to see a chiropractor this afternoon, has anyone been to one before? I'm not sure what to expect and have kind of pinned all my hopes on this 'fixing' me.
32+5 today, really want to get organised now and make sure we've got everything we need for baby arriving. Seem to have bags of stuff everywhere so really need to sort it all out and work out what I have / what I still need.
Just worked out I now have 13 days left to work before my maternity starts - hoping I can last that long! When is everyone else starting maternity?
I can not help you with this, but really hope it works for you, 13 days left for ML, that is so exciting !!dundeediva wrote: »afternoon everyone!

Ohh yes it is hormones and the fact that some people just do not care when some of us are pregnant. I was once invited to a party, the people there kept saying to a friend that her little son looked like he had chicken pox, could you believe that i was there pregnant and just did nothing, not for me or the other children, just said ohh lets wait and see. I spent my time outside worrying and hoping OH could pick me up soon.Hello ladies - just thought I would stick my head round the door although it only feels like yesterday I was posting on here!

Yes to be honest, it is nana, let me have breaks often, have cups of tea, eat her food and pays me very well. But lately the hoover feels heavy and my back feels sore.
the electricy thing is annoying, isn't it ? i just checked my usage and between 14 dec and 14 jan we have spent £150 !!! Can not switch just yet as this is our first month with them and can not cope with paying all of that upfront and next month too till the switch takes place.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -

Congrats Triangle! Lovely news
My sis had her first 2 exactly 12 months apart (same birthday!) - they're lovely together and have a really close bond.
My sis swears having 2 babies was no more difficult than having one () and thinks the small gap made life easier rather than harder - and she's had another 2 since!0 -
Hey there. What lovely news Triangle.
Had mw appt yesterday 25+2 and bump measured 29cm, so got to go for "tests" and possibly a scan next week at the hospital Anti natal. Anyone else had this?

I had one noteable occasion about 28 weeks last time when my bump measured 32! Midwife just disregarded it as it was her student who'd done the measurement and they all take it slightly differently - normal service (and sane measurements) was resumed at the next appointment. Think the baby had been going through a period of sticking her backside out as well at the time!
Good to see you over here Triangle - welcome to the world of everyone thinking you're bonkers for the small age gap thing!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
