I can, however, the stripper was completely focused on the bride-to-be. Nobody else interacted with him at all physically/threw hoops and nobody went off to a private booth with him for a personal show.:(

But you were all there, laughing, jeering, looking, which in my eyes is just the same.

Did all the blokes have a private dance?

Did he come straight home and tell you?

I think if he did, then that's a good thing, it's better than him keeping quiet and you finding out at a later date.

Wouldn't bother me. Guys like seeing nekkid women. Oh well.

To all the women who would not want their partner to see or expect him to walk out the room... do you think your partner doesn't look at p0rn?

Even the lap dance I would probably be ok with! I really don't think some girl who does this for a living is suddenly going to make a beeline and try and nab my fella!

If they wanted to do it every weekend I wouldn't be happy.

He doesn't and is very anti himself.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

  • Torry, I guess I just see a difference between being in a group of hens and all having a laugh together at a stripper and paying a lap dancer to take you to a private booth and dance naked on your lap in a sexual manner. I just don't think I can accept it really. I have been feeling quite unhappy in the relationship for a while (unappreciated etc) and I think this has just added to all that.

  • thatgirlsam - it's not the strippers intentions that bother me. It's the fact that my bf wanted to pay for some random naked girl to writhe on him. It's his actions that bother me, not her intentions.

I have a particular opinion on strip/lap dancing clubs, but just thought it'd be interesting to see what other people thought about them.

Ladies, would you be comfortable with your OH going to a lap dancing club and paying for a private dance, or would that be a big no, no? Would it be ok if they went along to the club and didn't get a dance?

Just curious to see the general consensus?:)

I've only ever been to one and hated it! Only went for my mates 40th, they don't interest me, and the GF should be enough to provide the private dance

That sounds like the crux of the matter. You need to decide if this relationship is worth working at. :(

Depends what sort of person your hubby is doesn't it? I know mine would like to watch from a distance but he'd curl up with embarrassment if it was anything more.

I don't have a problem with those clubs myself, but if l couldn't trust my hubby it would be different.

    Happy moneysaving all.
