My OH was taken out by his friends to wet the babies head. They ended up in a lapdancing club and his friends paid for severel private dances for him.

Despite being really drunk he felt so guilty he told me the instant he got home. I was absolutely disgusted. Threatened to tell all his friends OHs and they were all bricking it!!

Think I over-reacted a bit due to just having had a baby but I asked him to stay at his mums that night and cried so much I made myself ill. It was a very rough time for us.

I don't think you over reacted! Who goes to a lap dancing club to celebrate the birth of a baby, not surprised you were upset! Not a nice though after you've just given birth that you oh is out having private dances from semi naked women.

I think im very lucky in that my bf has no interest in strippers/lapdancing clubs. We were talking about this thread last night and he said its not something that appeals to him, and that the only person he wants naked close to him is me

At a stretch id be ok if he got dragged to one for a stag do etc, but not if he had a private dance-we agree thats a step too far.

Still remember how i felt when i found out my ex had been to a clu and had a private dance, at the time we were having issues and instead of sorting them out he was out there oogling some naked women writhing around in front of him.

I should add !!!!!! doesn't bother me, its not the same thing. If it was virtual reality !!!!!! (not sure that exists :rotfl: or something then i might feel differently.

I really don't think your over-reacted either. I have never heard of a head wetting that involved lap dancing!

in what way is it not the same thing to you? Because thats why I wouldn't have a problem with my OH going to a lapdancing club or having a private dance - as I think it is the same thing as !!!!!!. The private dancer doesn't fancy him, she's not having sex with him, he can't touch her .... so wheres the difference?

No private dances (unless stag etc) and not on a regular basis, otherwise I wouldn't mind. I can't say no as I go myself with friends occasionally and it's a generally OK thing to do in my family (a family friend owns a club and some of my friends are strippers).

I wouldnt mind my husband going to a lap dancing club - the naked girl thing doenst bother me. I would be bothered if he wasted a load of money that could be better spent though. Also I think its funny that men will actually part with hard earned money to see a girl dance about naked ? !! How funny is that ? !
Guys are just more visual I guess. So long as he didnt meet her afterwards who cares. She is just a cheap thrill.

im amazed at some of the responses from women whos bfs have told them about getting a lap dance.

As i said before, if your men were really interested in getting it on with someone who wasnt you, the last place they would be doing it is the lap dancing, they would be at that boozer, that every city/town has, where the "fun girls" hang out, not in place where the girls are at work and only talking to people because they are paid to.

Considering most talk about honesty and trust being the most important things in a relationship, it seems strange that when your bf shows some honesty you cant find it in you to show a bit of trust!!
