Just go in, say 'oops, sorry I overreacted a tad', collect his results and say no more about it.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

No, that won't happen. They will cut you some slack as a new parent, we have all been there and we have all probably stewed over something which we later see as insignificant. Don't worry about it any more. Pop into school on Monday and do as Pollycat says and it will all be forgotten.

nothing like that is going to happen, just go see the office staff on Monday, say sorry for over-reacting, smile and let it go. These things happen, if you realise you went a little overboard and admit that, the school won't think any less of you, and will appreciate the gesture.

I'm glad you've taken the opinions offered by other posters on board.

I think Sambucus Nigra has the best advice how to act on Monday, I'm sure the school will be apologetic (after all, it is their mistake) and I'm sure they'll understand why you emailed.

Now, put it out of your head, stop worrying and enjoy the weekend with your child. :)

Of course they will apologise, it was their mistake and the office staff will be embarrassed to have made it.

I wouldn't worry about it, by the time they leave school I think we're all labelled as problem parents!

Is this your first child to attend school OP?

That's what the GP used to say to me every time I took my son in to see him :o

I think you need to calm down - not about the report - but about the importance you're attaching to these foundation stage profile scores. No one is going to keep your child in reception if they don't get the "required" number (and 9 by the way is exceptional and not what's needed), or anything like that - it's not pass or fail or anything like that so for the sake of your own blood presure - quit flipping out about that part.

As for the stuff being sent to the wrong people - we got a letter from some random chap in Wales once - some archive bank statements we'd requested had been posted to him by mistake.
