And how many other classes and children are there in the school?
Have you read Laurel7172's post - she works in a school and actually collates & envelopes reports.0 -

Because I fail to see the point of your second email. You emailed them highlighting the issue - then you email them again.
From the wording of your previous post it seems it is to make a formal complaint.
I think you need to take a step back and think - is it really worth a formal complaint?
School office staff (that I've worked with) are ALWAYS incredibly busy. The phones never seem to stop ringing, visitors have to be signed in and out, parents have to be spoken to, deliveries have to be checked and signed for, emails have to be answered etc etc.
Whilst I have no doubt the staff member involved is sorry to have made a human error I doubt they will think it warrants 2 emails and an official complaint. I suspect other staff members will concur and you will find yourself labelled as a problem parent."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" i emailed the 2nd time to say that whilst i was annoyed i didnt wish to make a formal complaint and realised that mistakes are do happen.
should i not have bothered?0 -
If the first email was a formal complaint and the second after a bit of thought was to withdraw the formal complaint -then no. Anything else though would have been over-kill.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I just get the impression you think your son may not have scored so highly and that is why you are bothered.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
What's done is done. You would have been better off not emailing but as it is, I'd go in on Monday or phone if you cannot go in, and apologise for overreacting. I would personally want an apology in recognition of the mistake but apart from that as long as you get the right report it is sorted.
You think that's bad - I was once given someone else's smear test results and she was bring recalled for abnormal cells!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
