    hi all,
i tried to talk to my wife about the debt and basically she said i know we are in debt, and what do we do to get out of it.
she didnt want to know how much just what we had to do.
so we stoppped wasting money and we only spend money on food and petrol.
it was really the outcome i hoped but i feel better that she knows that we are in trouble and is willing to change.
Hi - I've only just started reading this thread and I can feel the anxiety and concern of all the posters who have given you such good advice. I'm so glad you have told your wife - you'll be able to climb mountains together now and I'm sure you must be feeling such a lot better. Keep us posted, please, and Good Luck.

Hi eric. Well done! Sounds like a good outcome. I'm planning on telling my hubby about my debts this weekend. I'm terrified but excited at the same time. Just to get it shared with him will be a relief.

you need to tell her i told my husband and although he hit the roof at the time he's still a bit mad about it but i'm working through it. give payplan a ring and then tell her at least then you are showing that you are willing to sort it out. you will come out the other side.

i think that's the best way sony get used to making them first then try and make small over payments and build up as you get used to doing it you'll find your dfd coming ever closer
