thanks mbf, and well done for being so near to the end of your journey; that must have been a struggle, but you have made it, and you deserve to be proud of yourself  .

hi all,
i tried to talk to my wife about the debt and basically she said i know we are in debt, and what do we do to get out of it.
she didnt want to know how much just what we had to do.
so we stoppped wasting money and we only spend money on food and petrol.
it was really the outcome i hoped but i feel better that she knows that we are in trouble and is willing to change.0 -

I'm really glad that your wife has been that good about it.
Now you can both focus on getting yourselves together.:)Beth86

Its great not spending money. We have lots of no spend weekends and days (and nights) out that cost nothing. We use the freebies board for cinema nights out, free meals, they even have holidays on there! All the family are involved in the money saving project, and we all admit that we have more fun now, and do so many different things rather than when we were just thowing money at it.
Best of luck and let us know how you get on.0 -
Well done!! Glad all is ok!!!
