I'd be very surprised because again this open to abuse by buyers signing any old way and then claiming they didn't sign!

Well it was there - the woman made such a fuss that was perhaps the reason why

It would be interesting for me as well as I often buy using my initials , and my OH has the same initials. So a signature showing for instance a.soolin could be either of us and would be so open to abuse.

I'm still not convinced! Paypal just tend to ignore people who make a fuss.

Sorry, I think I have got confused, I thought we were talking about PayPal asking for proof of signature to 'judge' a INR claim, but that doesn't explain how you were 'there'.

I found the thread - but it is dated 2009 so perhaps the rules have changed (most likely)

    I was not there

I said the thread was there - where it happened that someone got refunded - as PayPal looked at their signature and it differed from the POD one

    - I have not said anything to anyone which can be construed as rude until I was provoked

And that makes a difference because......?

You were rude, there is no excuse.

What others do has no bearing. You are the OP. This thread is about you.

I have reported your post and I hope others do too.

If you cannot debate or explore possibilities without becoming rude or personal then it perhaps says more about you than you should wish.

I wasn't arguing for the sake of it!!
You are now; obviously (since people do get tried and convicted of the mentioned offences) the law is not an absolute deterrent. :)
