I'm not sure you should wait too long before doing something. He knows you know, so he knows that his double life has an expiration date. He is a duplicitous, selfish liar. God only knows what lies he is working out now to protect himself. Don't be surprised if he uses the time that you are thinking about what to do, to discredit you and keep your best friend away from you.

You could always arrange for both your friend, co-worker and the bloke to be at the same place at the same time. Then stand back and watch the fireworks.....:rotfl:

Or more seriously, I assume your friend is more important to you than the husband or your co-worker. If so, she needs to know before too much longer. Actually both women need to know that he has been taking them both for a ride

Hasn't he tried to contact you? I find this incredible.... surely he knows he has been caught and it is eminent that you inform your best friend...yet he does nothing? Something doesn't ring right.

How did he meet this girl? Did your best friend never hinted on her having concerns over her husband not being around much. Surely if they are engaged, they must be spending quite some time together. And how can they be so stupid to be in a local shop when they could have been seen by many people knowing them...

If it was me, I would contact him and tell him that he better come up with a good explanation, or alternatively go home to tell his wife, because otherwise, she will find out from you. No matter her about to give birth, I couldn't keep that from my best friend for an hour let alone days...

I really don't envy you OP you have been put in such a horrible situation but you know in your heart of hearts that you need to tell not just your best friend but your co worker too, and the sooner the better tbh.

I'm not suggesting that the op is in anyway at fault, I just could not of done it the way she did.

I'd be round there now with chocolate, tissues and the truth as you know it. Just the facts, don't add anything you are guessing or summising.

I have just tried to ring my friend and her husband answered the phone and told me to mind my own business and not to call back, so I have just tried the landline and it's just ringing out.

If you can't get in touch with your best mate then I think you need to talk to your co worker.

The problem with that is it sounds like the OP is the superior(Work wise). Therefore you can not use any contact details unless it is for employment purposes.

It would have to wait until work time, again far from ideal way to let her know her happy life is all a lie

I'd keep ringing, she will ask who keeps trying.
