Heavens, I really don't envy you. I would approach him first, I think. Tell him he's put you in a VERY awkward situation and either he tells both women, or you'll have to, otherwise the girls will feel betrayed by you, too, when they find out that you knew.

To be honest I was hoping he would confess and to be honest I didn't fancy having a showdown in the middle of Ann Summers

Like you say, you don't know how long he'd been in the car park, chatting up people as they were leaving or coming outside for a cigarette.
Presumably, also, you were both drunk when you met him in the car park and might not even have noticed if there was anything amiss.

I say tell your friend.
If she doesn't believe you then time for a plan B, but for now tell her.

I don't drink so I could have drove us both home but he insisted on dropping and picking us up.

He is something else :mad: I am really scared as I don't want her to think I have been holding information from her, make it worse she will think allsorts because the other female works for me.

Other option is to ring her up and say you need to speak to your other half about 'name of person'.

Because, presumably, if this other woman saw this guy picking you both up then she can't have been gone long before you got there.

sorry but this rings alarm bells with me - why would someone drop off and pick up his wife and friend when both of them could do the driving?

I reckon he had been seeing this girl from before xmas party and this was a great excuse to be able to spend some time with her.
