Tell your employee you've known her 'fiance' for years, he's your best mates husband, he's a loverat and this is their address if she'd like to pop round and sort it out.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

If she is your friend then there is no question what to do. You tell her everything. Imagine if it were you and your friend didnt say anything. You owe it to her to let her find out asap. It will come out eventually and be more messy and more hurtful for your friend plus you might lose her.

So she met him at Christmas and is already engaged and pg (and pg enough to have been telling people for months) and yet was trying for ages? That really doesn't add up.

Nor does how on earth he managed to pull whilst waiting in the car outside a party to collect his wife and her friend.

Yes she has been trying to get pregnant for a couple of years obviously by other men.
Like I said I don't know the full story all I know is that she is telling the truth, I don't even know how long he was outside waiting ect.

Must have been quite a while if he managed to get a whole other family while he was out there.

OP I know this isn't a particularly good time to tell your best friend, but there will never be a good time for her to hear this and the longer you leave it the more chance she'll find out about the new woman and also find out that you knew and didn't tell her.

Tell her as soon as you can, I wouldn't wait until she's had the baby.

I think that bird might have flown, as OP kind of went along with the act of not knowing him when they were 'introduced'.

Hmm, I wonder what the guy is going to do now that he knows you know, OP. How long was he going to keep this act up, FGS, surely he knew it'd come to a head at some point.

Heavens, I really don't envy you. I would approach him first, I think. Tell him he's put you in a VERY awkward situation and either he tells both women, or you'll have to, otherwise the girls will feel betrayed by you, too, when they find out that you knew.

If you're angry, confused and upset just imagine how your best friend is going to feel when she finds out.

If you were my friend and you'd found something like this out about my fella I would want to be told, and told as soon as possible.

I would not be telling my best friend, I would be ringing her husband and saying he needs to sort his mess out sooner rather than later. And that if he doesn't then I will be letting everyone know what he's done.
