Bad enough finding out your husband is having/had an affair but to find out that he is engaged and the girlfriend is also pregnant, I could not even begin to imagine the emotional trauma that could cause someone especially whilst pregnant.

I'm not disagreeing with any of that - however, how much worse would it be to believe you had the perfect marriage, and had a faithful husband by your side through childbirth, only to find out after the birth that it was all a lie and your best friend knew all about it too?

So he's going to prove he's not been having an affair by saying he's been having an affair?

Just before you release any devestating news to either woman, are you absolutely sure that your best friends husband doesn't have an identical twin brother? Im not asking this to make a mockery of what could be an awful situation. Just be sure though. A friend of mine is an identical twin and has been in some awkward positions because people have jumped to conclusions and got it totally wrong!

This is what my worry is,
it is none of my business
yet I am faced with a difficult situation not only on a work level but on a personal level.

I know that when I tell the woman at work she will be asking for time off and my best friend will get mad at me as her head is all over the place at the moment.

I have a big headache now over all of this and I am trying my best to not get overly involved but she is my best friend and I guess even if she gets mad at me I have to do the right thing and tell her.

I wish I never went shopping now and all of this has left me so upset.:(

it is your business though - your best friend is your business.

Tell your friend and then tell the other woman. Your pregnant colleague is all the 'proof' that you need, surely?
If your friend believes him over you, despite everything, then so be it.

PM me your friend's name and e-mail address or phone number and I'll tell her for you. That way you can be the shoulder to cry on rather than the messenger.

Yeah I guess its easier to say he was having an affair or quick bunkup with me so he calls it, so my friend will think that is the reason why I don't like him because I am jelous hence her not wanting to talk to me so she would never find out about he secret new family.

    He is something else him!!!

I'm not sure his reactions would have been as they were if he hadn't been caught out ;)

it is your business though - your best friend is your business.

I can understand her hesitation though.

Her friend could end up forgiving her husband and staying with him
and then she becomes the outcast, I have seen it happen before.

I don't think there is any doubt as yvonne has spoken to her friends husband and he's all but admitted it and is threatening her.
