As much as I like to see other members saving money on there Virgin bill, I think its wrong the VM can charge one customer £40 and the other £30 for the same package. How can they think they can get away with that.

    I have the following -

    Tv - XL x 2
    Phone - U/L
    Broadband- 2mg

Cost £30 per direct debit, though this months bill was £15 as I got £15 refunded due to non direct debit fee's

Totally agree with you! Time they set out a pricing structure that everyone could benefit from

Thats the problem Pam most decent people will agree with my reply but VM will do nothing about it.

Really ? It's normally £30 for 3, for new customers (although they did give that to me)- how did you manage to knock them down to £25 for 3 AND get a faster (than the basic) broadband speed and phone package?? I asked them for a faster than 2mb broadband, but they wouldn't give me any more discounts - although the broadband speeds are being upgraded across the board shortly.

This is what I mean about the unfairness of Virginmedia - knocking down prices to those who haggle better !!!!!
I think it's time I moved from Virgin to a provider who offers fairer deals

I think that their deals are based on loyalty too, i.e. if you are an ex ntl or telewest customer of some years standing, you get a better deal.

Ive been with telewest for years and had previously negotiated a discount with them for long standing loyalty after years of paying £50.x for a very basic package!

When virgin took over and i lost my sky channels, I phoned the new virgin team and had a very nasty experience with one of their CS resulting in me filing a formal written complaint.

Another phone call explaining the grief I'd had from the first CS got me the additional discount.

I hope thats how I got it and didnt post to offend anyone

I don't think its anything to do with this at all, I have been with TW for 7yrs and my mother has been with them for 4yrs and gets the same deal:confused:

Virgin just make it up as they go

    Why, it's called competition ??

Do you want to pay higher prices ??
    Sky don't give out discounts.

Virgin Media are shaking up the industry.

I have been with NTL now Virgin for 12 years.
Their services & pricing needed a bomb to shake them from their lazy slumber.

Virgin need to establish what market prices people want to pay when given a choice against Sky & others.

Ps: This is a deals thread, to save money.

I still firmly believe they shouldn't treat some customers more favourably than others. I don't see why I should pay more than another customer receiving the same or better services !!

As in every other area of life, if you don't ask you don't get. No one values loyalty anymore, they just want to get whatever they can get out of you.
