I just started reading this book. I confess I was curious. I have to say I have read romance books which are written better. However FSOG is a bit spicier than Eastenders so, what the heck. :rotfl:
p.s. If they make a movie of the book I would like to see the actor who plays Eric in True Blood (Alexander something...) doing Christian. Eye candy pretty enough to forget about the silly plot...............................................................................

OK, how about most women have at least had some kind of fantasy about being bossed about and told exactly what to do in sex?
And he's a bit of a bas****, women like that in fantasy men.
He also wouldn't want me to have a job, friends or social life, would choose all my clothes for me, pick which birth control method I used without any regard for my opinion (especially considering it's me who'd be suffering the side effects!) and eyeball me constantly every time I sat down to eat until I ate enough to meet his approval. No thanks!Eye candy pretty enough to forget about the silly plot.

Well then that is their fault as they aren't telling him what could be better.0 -

Now take him (oh my) and put him in a trailer park with no job, a beer gut, a bed with broken springs and a 'toy box' under it. Now he's a dirty perv :rotfl:.
I read them because of the hype. Wasn't exactly life enhancing but I found some parts interesting. Basically though she didn't have the guts to see through her fantasies. As to what he looks like:

Back to Jeffrey Deaver methinks.

Hahaha...excellent! :rotfl:
I haven't read FSOG but I don't generally like "women's" erotica. It's always full of carp like..."He gently but firmly tied her wrists with his £300 silk Jermyn Street tie" or "his throbbing manhood caressed her silken thighs" etc etc etc.
What's wrong with a fit mechanic tying you up with a Halfords tow-rope? Or a plumber with a six-pack and a roll of duct tape?"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -

Come on then all those who've had a go at me for trying to explain why all these women like Mr Gray. Maybe you could explain it?Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
