Grex, can any of your friends offer you the use of their sofa in the short term? What exactly are you paying 450 a month for? You need to prioritise, staying in a relationship because you dont think you can afford to leave is a recipe for disaster.

if you cant love your girlfriend for who she is then leave her so she can find someone worthy of her love, seems like she is 100% in this relationship and you only seem interested when you want sex, I bet she fetches and carries for you when you have all your mates over

so you arent the grex that has 2 other aliases

I don't think you actually read my first post, I DO love her. As for only being interested in her when I want sex - what an awful thing to even dare accuse me of. That was just nasty.

I have the offer of a sofa in the short term sure, but it's getting from there to being on my own two feet that's the bother. The £450 amonth over and above the bills is for approx £22k of credit card debt that I built up whilst supporting my gf through uni, semi-high interest cards and the £450 just about covers the min. payments. No chance of transferring to lower rate cards due to my credit rating being shot to bits after missing a couple of payments. :(

Sounds like you only want to listen when people are agreeing with you, and as for being nasty thats what I think you are for saying things about your girlfriend, why dont you get off the internet and go and talk to her and tell her that you are unhappy rather than sitting on here.

You see - you haven't actually READ anything I've posted. I know it's difficult to believe a fellow female could actually be the one at fault, but it takes two to tango (or not). I have talked to her, and if you had read any of my posts you would know that.

The problem is that she denies there is one! Hence why I'm sitting on the net on a Saturday night with nothing much better to do with myself.

I try to take her out all the time, she just says no. I buy her presents, give her compliments, try to do nice things like make dinner, buy flowers, wee surprises here and there, but no change.

I do love her, but I could almost be living with a sister rather than a girlfriend.

All I'm asking is for some advice, not systematic character assassination.

Can I ask you not to say anything if you can't say anything constructive?
