HOW exactly?
You tell me to stop kidding myself with nothing to back your statement up. Hardly constructive.
Re read your opening post it's all there, would it help if you actually read it out aloud

Grex,
A few years ago I read an article about making relationship decisions, and basically you need to ask yourself a question. If you could wave a magic wand and make her go away without any problems (financial or otherwise) then would you do it? If the answer is yes then it needs to end regardless of the problems.
If the answer is no then you need to work on the relationship. Sit down and tell her bluntly how you feel. Try and be constructive though - what can we do together to make our lives more interesting, why dont we join a gym, lets start going swimming, etc.
Best of luck whatever you decide.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
You need a plan Grex. Thats a silly amount of debt that your servicing and money isnt worth ruining your life over. I'd go to the debt free board and ask for advice there. If it was me (and once upon a time it was) I'd rent somewhere and contact cc companys with a list of my new outgoings. Your credit rating is shot anyway. Think of it this way, what would you do if she put you out?
Thats sensible advice Hex. I suspect a fair few people would wave that wand.Retail is the only therapy that works0 -
wageslave, I know, I did it some years ago! Benefit of hindsight 100% the right decision. Right decision for both of us - although he couldnt see it at the time.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Thanks very much for all you help so far guys, although i'm slightly worried that you're all saying the same thing. Perhaps it's just the fear of change that's keeping me here, I don't know.0
