The sale includes NatWest branches in Scotland.
Migration must be a huge operation and will always happen in stages - with the potential for something to go wrong at any point.
Just because migrating accounts now have a new URL (still running on the NW/RBS platform) and customer number for online banking login I wouldn't have thought was conclusive evidence that Santander are now managing the accounts and NW/RBS are only presenting them; but just a stage along the transition process.

I did a transfer from my ING Direct account into my Natwest account about 30 minutes ago and it has appeared in my Natwest account now, so I am assuming that new transactions are fixed.
I am still expecting a transaction from yesterday, but as it was only for £18, it's not too bad. I did have a little worry about the ING transaction in case it got lost - but it arrived pretty quickly[STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0 -
lol!... my partnerjust went ino the branch and tey idnt seem to think it was sorted, then again i suppose being 'front line' they will be last to know when things are sorted, lets hope it is and we can all get back to nrmal! Without natwest!0

**NEW**
We are continuing to experience technical issues with our systems, which is impacting a large number of our customers. As a result, money credited to accounts overnight may not be appearing on balances today.
This problem is strictly of a technical nature and we are working hard to fix it as soon as possible. We will ensure that no customers will be permanently out of pocket as a result.
Staff in our branches and at our call centres are ready and available to answer any questions.
We are also extending opening hours of our branches.
Over 1000 of our branches will be open until 7pm tonight to help customers with enquiries or who need access to their cash. Our branches open on Saturday will extend working hours to 6pm, and these branches will also be open this Sunday from 9am to 12pm.
We apologise to our customers for this unacceptable inconvenience. We will continue to provide regular updates throughout the day.
