About an hour ago, I don't know if that was when he phoned or went in branch though as he's done both.

I hope so, I have enough cash to tide me over but many don't

Their tidy PR woman said it had been fixed now and now they have to deal with the back log live on sky news

im going down in a mo though to get the cash out so ill ask if it affects normeal payments from today onwards

I did a transfer from my ING Direct account into my Natwest account about 30 minutes ago and it has appeared in my Natwest account now, so I am assuming that new transactions are fixed.

I am still expecting a transaction from yesterday, but as it was only for £18, it's not too bad. I did have a little worry about the ING transaction in case it got lost - but it arrived pretty quickly

lol!... my partnerjust went ino the branch and tey idnt seem to think it was sorted, then again i suppose being 'front line' they will be last to know when things are sorted, lets hope it is and we can all get back to nrmal! Without natwest!

We are continuing to experience technical issues with our systems, which is impacting a large number of our customers. As a result, money credited to accounts overnight may not be appearing on balances today.

This problem is strictly of a technical nature and we are working hard to fix it as soon as possible. We will ensure that no customers will be permanently out of pocket as a result.

Staff in our branches and at our call centres are ready and available to answer any questions.

We are also extending opening hours of our branches.

Over 1000 of our branches will be open until 7pm tonight to help customers with enquiries or who need access to their cash. Our branches open on Saturday will extend working hours to 6pm, and these branches will also be open this Sunday from 9am to 12pm.

We apologise to our customers for this unacceptable inconvenience. We will continue to provide regular updates throughout the day.
