I've said this to you elsewhere that all English RBS customers now have a separate Santander login and have done for the past several weeks.

In what way could you possibly attribute a problem with Nat West's batch payment systems to the migration of English RBS customers to Santander, which seemingly has already happened in all but name and without glitch?
I dont have a separate santander login. I use a slightly different URL though

Natwest has just told my OH that the issue has been resolved and the balance will be updated on monday. Our Natwest account has our tax credits paid in. We also have a Barclays account that the wages are paid into, but these are from a Natwest acount, so I assume these will be showing in the Barclays account on monday too?

If the system's now up and running and delays are caused by a backlog, as Natwest said, does that mean that my fathers pension credit, that show in his account (RBS) first thing saturday morning will be paid in as usual, given that it's an automated credit and the system's supposedly up and running does anyone know?
    Started comping 23/05/12
Thankyou to everyone who takes the time to post competitions

My Sky dd is due out today, bet I get cut off and I have phone, Internet and tv with them

I've just rang my phone provider querying bill as it was due and didn't have a clue if natwest had paid anything and I was told that the bank cancelled all direct debits with them yesterday morning, good job I rang them x
  • Over 1000 of our branches will be open until 7pm tonight to help customers with enquiries or who need access to their cash. Our branches open on Saturday will extend working hours to 6pm, and these branches will also be open this Sunday from 9am to 12pm. - Natwests website

Guessingthis means they will be sorting it over the weekend too then!?

As its fixed, Any automated credit done from now on (i.e this evening like my child benefit does tonight) will show tomorrow

otherwise they would have a constant back log if they process the missing stuff first

The sale includes NatWest branches in Scotland.

Migration must be a huge operation and will always happen in stages - with the potential for something to go wrong at any point.

Just because migrating accounts now have a new URL (still running on the NW/RBS platform) and customer number for online banking login I wouldn't have thought was conclusive evidence that Santander are now managing the accounts and NW/RBS are only presenting them; but just a stage along the transition process.

So, if you get paid on Monday 25th like quite a few people do , you will get your money like normal?
