I don't want to sound rude but you are over-reacting. There is a contingency in place so that house purchases can still complete, the number we have is internal only but if tou five mortgage services a call they will be able to let you know what is happening
I have spoken to Mortgage services three times today on the advice of my conveyancer. Mortgage Services have told me categorically that there is nothing they can do unless their systems are up and running and they went so far to tell us that we should ask our conveyancer to let everyone else in the chain know the situation so they were pre warned.
If I'm over reacting then it's on the basis of the knowledge I have been given by Natwest to date! The latest being that 'hopefully' it will be up and running tomorrow....0 -

I don't think so - I have an Ulster account as well and am experiencing a reduced internet banking service at the time of posting
The accounts transferring to Santander have their own platformHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Yes - that's the problem I am experiencing , there was also a problem with sending payments (eg bill payments) which resulted in the same error message as the statements one although I didn't wish to make any payments - so it was immaterial , I am still unable to make payments from Ulster Bank

I'll reiterate what the other Natwest employees have said. Tomorrow is going to be hell. I really don't know if i can face being shouted at
.
All backoffice systems were down so i couldn't even access customers details and have a diary full of call backs assuming things are running tomorrow.Mortgage 1: May 2012 £90,000 April 2020: £47,000
Mortgage 2: £270,000😱 Jan 2019 £253,000 April 20200 -

I can support Karen's view as well. We are basically in the same position and Natwest have offered no solution so far, only that they can't do anything until the system is back available.
Let's not downplay the situation, people are going to lose houses if this keeps up, me one of them.0 -
Unfortunately I am one of the few that still can't see an updated balance and nothing shows since yesterday on my statement. I paid in £250 earlier to cover a bill, this hasn't been paid and I have already been charged an extra £20. I don't want compensation - I want to be refunded what I am out of pocket -£20!Spam Reporter Extraordinaire

I have wages due in tomorrow and tax credits and my daughters carers allowance. Also have shopping booked for tomorrow and maybe I should cancel that delivery.0

I'm amazed at the amount of people that are threatening to leave these banks and bank elsewhere. It's only the other month that HSBC had problems on a similar scale and also Barclays. This is the danger of modern technology it can go wrong and does today proves this. Yes i was annoyed at today as I have bills to pay and children to feed, but the amount of people being rude to staff in local Natwest branch was disgusting as this wasn't there fault I do think senior staff do have alot of questions to answer though because nobody seemed to know what was going on x0
