Sorry haven't got time to read through eveything, but my balance is incorrect.
£500 minus £43.70 = £370 according the my overall balance and available balance, which I know can be different if pending payments are due.
Is that a common issue here?0 -

I Used to work there! Fun times
I remember that back, when I did work for NW, there was a major systems out, from 6pm ish on the Friday until sometime on the Sunday. In the end, we were told that someone had accidentally removed a plug from one of the servers - how true that is I really don't know :rotfl:Not actually a newbie.... :cool:0 -

Message showing on the NatWest website:Important Information for our customers - message timed at 16:25
We can confirm that all account balance information has now been updated so most customers will now be able to view an up to date balance. Some services online are still unavailable and some customers may still be impacted.
We recognise this has caused significant inconvenience for our customers, and we continue to work to resolve these issues and restore a full service.
We will be keeping over 1,000 NatWest branches in all major towns and cities open until 7pm tonight to assist customers who are unable to get to their branch during working hours. Staff at our call centres are also ready to answer questions and help where they can.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. If it doesn't come through in the morning, we can't move and neither can the rest of the chain, who are staying in hotels, having removal vans remove furniture today and first thing in the morning. Natwest have given me no advice as to if we will be awarded compensation if this is the case and the rest of the chain are getting understandably very antsy about this.
I understand that glitches do happen, but this has been a mighty big one and you'd think that staff would be able to help with questions arising from this with regard to next steps. It's a very tricky situation and doesn't just affect people who can't access their accounts for money (us included, but luckily I always keep a spare few tins of food for disasters!). Gah....0 -
I cant wait to go into work tomorrow I think its gonna be a long day :rotfl:
Same here, today was bad enough! It's the cashiers I feel sorry for, being told they're now open til 7 and everything they have done manually still needs to be keyed onto the system when it's up and running!0
