I'm with neither RBS nor natwest. I am with thinkbanking who "piggyback" onto RBS and my wages are still missing somewhere in the matrix, I decided that enough was enough and have gotten a new bank account with someone, but I am still left with no money to go anywhere, it's just not good enough0

I'm off to open a new account at Barclays tomorrow, I doubt they are much better but they at least have a branch very local to me.0

I done that today, very easy, very helpful.0 -
I left Santander due to crappy service, but I am now going back with my tail between my legs, they might of been bad but no where near as bad as this.0

I'm an UlsterBank customer, I'm a full time student, and a part time working, and a single parent, ALL my funds are meant to be going into that account. I have a mere £1.45 in my purse, money that is meant to be in there isn't arriving, they say that it's fixed, and that all internet banking functionality should be working, it's not, and if I have to phone and listen to "oh yes, we're just so sorry, sorry we don't know when it will be there, try again tomorrow" (which is the SAME story I've had now since Wednesday) one more time I'll be at the doors of head office in Belfast tomorrow with a blunt rusty spoon and ask for the boss......
What are people meant to do? Just heard on the news that they reckon that this is still going to be "broken" up as far as Friday.... that's hundreds I'm owed so far, and I'm meant to just sit here and go "oh yeh, great, thanks for saying sorry because they accept that in the supermarket"
Looking for a new bank I really am!0 -

I've found Ulsterbank to be next to useless, Phone them up same old crap, "We're sorry" At least some folk in Natwest / RBS are having some joy, No one as far as I can tell in Ulsterbank is getting anywhere, my balance hasn't changed since last Wednesday, I have tax credits, child benefit, wages of both myself and partner all due to go in and nothing has arrived, We both have wages to go in this week as well and that's not looking to hopeful now either.0 -
The last two transactions have disappeared from my RBS current account. They were there on Friday but have vanished from both the mini statement and online banking today.0

We've still not received DH's wages into his Llloyds account from his bosses Natwest account getting desperate now. We followed Martins advice of contacting our bank and was told nothing they can do same as his employer.
Quote from the Telegraph today,
'Growing customer anger came as the effects of the IT meltdown began spreading to other banks and building societies, many of which have not received mortgage payments or other money owned to them by Natwest and RBS customers.
'In an unusual intervention, the FSA urged all other major high street banks to show understanding towards customers who may find themselves short of funds because they are awaiting money to be transferred from RBS or NatWest.'

As a matter of interest I checked the FSA website, and while they haven't got any big notices on their front page, they do have an item about this where it says much the same thing:
'In addition the FSA has spoken to other banks and building societies to ask that they take a reasonable approach to their customers who are impacted by the problems.'
