    All of them?

I worked for 20 years (with a fair few of those years as a high rate tax payer) before having to become a full time carer and thus, rely on benefits.

Same here, working 30 years here as of June next year, and as an ex serviceman (over 12 years in the RAF) have also fought for the country as well...she really is a spiteful self opinionated witch isn't she..Think she needs a life & reality check..

Rumours suggest that RBS group have been hacked and its the real reason for all the problems.

I advise any customers to move accounts once this fiasco is over.

Great time to be had on the Natwest > Personal Banking > Ideas Bank forum.

I asked a question on there yesterday to clarify what the "technical issues" actually are....

To date I've had a number of Votes and NO ANSWER officially from NatWest.

    It's worthless really.

    Based on rumours?

Nah, I'll stick where I am.

It's not OT to make democracy work for you. We own RBS and calling its bosses before a parliamentary committee is the only way to get the full facts. You won't get the full facts by relying on the media.

I was actually referring to my snippet about the NatWest cards in the supermarkets was off topic (OT), not your post - to which I made no reference whatsoever... ;)

Not saying this isnt true, but it seems its the new craze for media/twitter people or whoever to claim something has been hacked when its down

If someone had hacked them, they would probably have admitted it by now as its a big deal for them to hack a bank

No way ! They would never admit anything like that. As I was saying: the only way to get the full facts is to force Hester to testify to the parliamentary select committee.

Silly comment. Under FSA rules, if there is any security issue affecting customers, they have to say so publicly, as soon as they become aware.

UK tax payers own 84%, so unless people want to lose a load of money, see cuts to schools/hospitals, pay more tax etc etc, they should stick where they are and claim back anything they can caused by the technical problem.

I read a comment from an apparant natwest customer who logged into his account to find a £45000 overdraft with a negative balance

I am going to check my account on Monday and if I find a large sum of money that is not mine, I will be quickly searching for my passport, getting my luggage together, heading to the bank to make a withdrawal and then getting a taxi to the airport for a trip to Rio.

    We can dream !
