All Stephen Hester has done is given a statement pretty
much the same as Susan Allen gave the other day.
I would like to see Hester called before the relevant Parliamentary Committee to explain himself.

This obviously hasn't happened really poor show.
It could be part of the agreement to appear on these shows that certain questions won't be asked. If they went ahead and asked these questions they would probably just refuse to appear on that channel again.0 -

OK so let's all email the committee. Here's the email: treascom@parliament.uk
And here's the website: http://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/treasury-committee/
Suggested text:
"In view of the RBS computer software problem that has caused hardship and concern to millions of people, I request that Stephen Hester and the relevant members of his staff be called to account before this Committee."
I've just sent my email. Hopefully others will too.0 -
A bit OT, but may be interesting... OH went to supermarket with cash yesterday lunch time, the person on the till said that they had seen no NatWest debit cards that morning, and more transactions than usual were being paid with cash.0
