    I'm a lot happier now I can get the money to people who should have it.

    I can confirm that at least one of the transfers I have just made has hit the destination account almost immediately, so that's put my mind at rest even more.

    Hopefully, everyone else's pending payments will be through soon and all will be back to normal. Everything seems to be working for me, all transactions are showing online, although the details for a few items are sketchy.

  • We are having the same problem, we are waiting for money out of natwest to go into our LLoyds account and have been waiting for the Fast payment since thursday morning, still hd no show, so yes i think the customers of natwest are the ones getting their wages etc, only problm is, lloyds arent giving money on the trust of money going into their bank like natwest are so im not too sure what im going to do if this isnt sorted by tomorrow!

    With RBS and our stuff is all up in the air still. All the debits, including one for monday which appeared overnight and the money OH drew on the counter yesterday, are there.
    But non of the credits including money transferred from another RBS account have appeared (although it shows as leaving the other account lol). Rang the mort company as our DD for them from weds had shown as cleared until yesterday when it suddenly became "pending" again. They said the DD has not be rejected and shows as "pending" on their systems. They hope the DD will feed throught the system as clearing on the weds so their system should hopefully not apply interest or charges, but will be hammering RBS for them if it does.

    If you go to the RBS website there's a full and comprehensive list of all branches that are open today.

    Id also think that the huge volumes of people trying to access online banking is causing as much problems as the technical issues.
  • It worries me that its more difficult to get money out of natwest than into it! ... they are slowly sorting peoples wages and money into natwest, but havent done anything with the people waiting for money to come out!
  • I can tell u i am natwest customer and yes do claim benefits not out of choice but out of disability and illnesses my account balance has updated now and to melbell i have not demanded any money from bank i have patiently waited even though i have 4 kids under age of 6 so u need to get ur facts right before u sit there saying people on benefits are demanding money and bah blah blal also before i became ill and had to start taking 9 different meds including a daily injection i was training to b a nurse so its not my fault my body got this !!!! happening and im a scrounger on benefits coz i dont want a job its because i am unable to work thankyou very much

    All my credits going in are showing now, but my card was still declined in the co-op! i did manage to withdraw my cash from a cash machine though.

    The thing is i've heard that due to the "glitch" a lot of employers
    who bank with RBS/Natwest still have had no money taken
    from their accounts the last few days to pay workers.

    So if that is the case then it would be impossible for
    workers to be paid until Natwest take the funds from the
    employer.

    It could be another 3-4 days before some non-RBS/Natwest customers see their wages.

    P.S.My employer has told me funds have been taken from
    their account i hope that's the case.
