Hi - it was the actual company that refunded my money, not through the dispute as I e-mailed them and told them I would take them to the small claims court.
I went on the company website and cancelled the top up fee as well, but I keep checking just in case ..........

Oh dear...... Who passed this gem to you?

While in part true. Your bank/card provider do not notify the companies.
The retailer can get the new card number via on Visa cards. The Visa Account Updater.
Retailers have access to this and can simply request the new card and update your details on their systems.

Not sure what law is being refered to here, but as someone who has access to VAU as part of my job....
Its here to stay as it is what is used to update companies with customers instructions to stop CPA's.....
If only ALL companies were on it.
So. if someone was of a paranoid disposition and closed down the bank account, would it be better to start again with a Mstercard card?

I've come to realise that we really are living in the age of the scam. I've only just begun to trust online transactions. I think it has been a shot and unplesasant relationship. I'll be going to shops in future.

I've been fighting with them for a refund since Feb and getting nowhere. I've threatened them with the small clains court amongst other things but theyare still refusing to refund.
I returned the products to an address previously mentioned on here, in Rugby. Provided them with proof of return and they still wont issue a refund because I 'tried' the products and to get e refund you have to return the 'stuff' in an unused state! So now I have no products(because I had an allergic reaction) and in debt to the tune of £195.67 and £16 overdraft fee!
All I get is the next in a long line of scripted email answers and passed on to different people who do the same, I too have been offered 'discounts' providing I don't 'dispute' the matter, but no matter what I say to them...nothing!:mad::mad:

I have today, in my own way, succeeded in getting DS Marketing to give me a refund on proof of payment. I will let you know what happens.
Can you please tell me how you managed to get your refund?

Aha, so they DO receive them in Rugby then. Otherwise how would they know that?

And what has your card issuer to say about this?

I opened a dispute with the bank on 28th Feb, the day the money was taken. Because I had only that day cancelled the trial the payment had to stand and a block would be put on any further attempts to take money.

We can't know this because I sent the parcel by Royal Mail (recorded) and it hasn't been delivered according to the tracking site. It's mysteriously disappeared .
They knew I had used it because I informed them of my allergic reaction when I tried to cancel the trial.
I would like to know how people are supposed to TRY the products without actually using them. I suppose if you don't lke the look of the box they come in then send it back haha Your trial consists of looking not touching!:rotfl:

I have had the same as you, an allergic reaction. I haven't returned the products as I had used them and they won't accept used products. I told them I would take them to Small Claims Court if I do not get a refund for £195.77. They threatened me saying I have committed fraud, can't see why as they've had the money for their so-called FREE Trial product. My bank tried to get a chargeback from them but they sent all their so-called paper work of T&C which you cannot see when ordering your FREE Trial products. I sent an email saying you can threaten all you like, but I am not the one doing wrong here.
